Yeah, my thinking is that it's got a pattern like an insect. The light is supposed to be coming from above.
Crap, didn't notice a new page started. Just gonna quote my edit:

Funny story about this:

Me: *as I am working on it* Hey..I should probably save this.
*saves..then MSPaint immediately crashes*

Not sure if I made it better or not. I never played an Earthbound game(not that I have not wanted to), so I don't know if I got the underbelly right..I'm just going by y'all's work.
Thank you, Spritegod.
Star, you so sexy.

Now comes the pod in the opposite position. This will not be easy.
Also, could someone find a spider animation with the frames laid out? Sick I want to try walking next.

That's one of the reasons I don't use MS Paint, sounds kinda unreliable with all the crash reports I see for it on TSR.
Anyhow I don't know why but that looks really weird to me. I'm probably not experienced enough to be able see that that's how an object like that should be shaded though so I'm sure you're good, Sean. Tongue

EDIT: Just saw Ryan's fff.
That is extreamely helpful. I'm stealing that for whenever I have to sprite a spider myself.
Thanks, guys!
Got a bit sidetracked with Lazy Shell and more Mario RPG ripping. I'll get back to this asap. Wink
