Going to redo the shooter enemy because he just looks like shit

The amount of bullshit in this page of the forum is staggering.

except for the fact that he has no ears.

Sonic's feet look a tad bit small too. His fur color is also a bit too dark.

That's the thing about having your own style. It's how you interpret the designs of characters you want to draw or animate, and translate them to something that is YOUR OWN, but still being recognizable as the original design.

EDIT: i'm surprised you didn't point out that the fur on the back of his head isn't supposed to be pointing up lol (how did you two miss that)

I realized his quills were up, I just thought it was design choice (sorta like CBL's Sonic). I would've thought the same for the ears, but those were REALLY bothering me.

also, the gloves are kinda bothering me, maybe add more white so we can see the fingers more clearly

DON'T pay attention to the tiles (one tile repeated) it's only a placeholder I plan to do more on the way.

This looks good, the lighter shading behind her back looks a little wonky.

For me, your work looks really good...continue with it

EDIT: by the way, the shooter enemy up there has the right arm a little longer than left...
