He may have meant for fighting/beat 'em up games since when you select your character most if not all the portraits in the game are right there already generally though of course not in all cases.
That would be indeed easy.
Well, once you do find them, it's just about taking a screenshot and paste on Paint. Yes, it varies from game to game, RPG's would be harder, since you'd have to play a good part of the game to get them, but for arcade games (fighting/shooters/platformers/etc) they're usally all there right at the beginning.
Those are the nicest looking sprites I've ever seen!

Oh, was that the reason my sarcometer exploded just a little while ago?
Those sprites were made by someone who has never seen a Tom and Jerry toon.
All that banding and pillow shading really bring out the sprites' lovely colors.
Team Shoot, I've turncoated you!
Probably my favorite heavy character from any beat-em-up. He's the last playable character from Ninja Warriors on SNES.
I actually had the shots for this done OVER a year ago. June 2011 it says. I just have dread assembling sprite sheets, that is until I get started.

I f there is marked at the bottom of the sheet from the game.
Sprites are one of the enemies of the game "Tom and Jerry. Magical ring" to
gameboy advance.

I think it's supposed to be that one black cat that's in some of the shorts, he talks, usually seen eating out of a trash can, I can't be the only one who realized that.

The top line looks like the black cat (I think he's called Butch, but might be wrong) but after that it looks like Tom. So they look like 2 different enemies (or an enemy and Tom).
Yes, the first line is Butch and the seventh row with his first two frames also belong to him.
