i dont fully get what is going to be the motion behind that(i doubt its going to be an uppercut), but
by the looks of it, the fist came from above so i think its a chop motion. or a groin shot.

It's because I've yet to make any significant progress on it, and there are still too many kinks for me to iron out before releasing a demo. The engine development isn't dead by any means, it's just going at a lack luster speed with bugs that are causing me to rip my hair out.
but it is still necesary to actually relase whatever alpha you have at hand, basically to show that there is somewhat of a progress on this and not let it die.
i found myself being quite motivated on the project and almost worked daily on getting my character done for it, but at this point i'm more or less afraid of it suffering the same fate of basically all of TSR's open collab works.
We will finish TFR. No matter what.
i get the feeling people said similar things about tsrodius...
i wasn't here for that project, but i still understand meta's concern. you can't just say "this will be finished. we will make it so." that's not assuring! with a project as large-scale as a fighting game, occasional progress reports on programming--you know, the actual meat of the game--should be mandatory, so you can back up saying "we're working on it" with some actual evidence.
