the in-progress roster is a lot smaller than it was the last few times character roundups were done. it seems this project goes through occasional surges of popularity. let's work for some real progress this time!

He actually was moving backwards in his recoil before, but it wasn't showing that at all so I tried to make it a more diagonal motion.

I feel like you got paged on this.

It looks pretty good to me! The flow seems better than before and nothing bothers me with it atm.

The glasses aren't glued to the surface of the character's face, so I think it'd make sense that they jut out. I thought the ear was a little too big so I changed that. His mouth was placed really strangely (like if it was leveled to the bottom of his nose but on his cheek?) So I moved it a little.

Just a couple of things that I thought you could improve. Use at your own discretion.
Heads-up:

These are the non-fighter assets I've made (Helpers and HUD elements). Note that some characters were raised to be playable characters and tbh I don't remember what some of these were supposed to do

I pretty much remember every single reference in the bottom right there, I have no idea what you would've used those quote boxes for though.

Actually, I have to say that I like this idea a lot! Not only will it allow us to squeeze in more characters that we may or may not have permission to use, but it also allows for us to use characters that are either not the best choice for fighters (such as a certain green guy) or just don't feel like participating at all.

I'm not sure if this is all the assist characters you're going to use, but if I have room for a few more, then I have several suggestions on some you could use.
Do I count as being a member for '2 months'? I have been a member here since 2013, and I'm interested in making an Assist.
To CBL and Iocus: I used both of your designs (Iocus's with some tweaks). If this gets the approval then I'll implement it into the animation. One thing though Iocus, If you take a look at my profile picture, the ear is supposed to be blank, but, If it's absolutely necessary, I'll implement your redesign further.

Oh and quick question: Do all the characters have to use all the quotes? I don't necessarily like the fact that my character could cuss in the game when in real life I don't.
You know, Mario360 does raise a very good point. While the swearing is not going to affect my character all that much because I would rather have E-Man be an assist than a full-fledged character, I think it would be for the best that not all characters should actually swear.

Sure, while there is some times that we couldn't help ourselves and let out an "F-Bomb," some of the users on this site have more self-control over swearing than others. Perhaps we could take something from Mario360's suggestion and implement it as a feature for some characters?

Well, I'm certainly not going to force you to change it, just giving you some suggestions. I figured you didn't draw the ear hole in your avatar because it was too much trouble, you didn't know how, had trouble getting it to look right, or as a stylistic choice. In any case, I didn't think it was a design choice, and so I figured "well, the character seems human, and humans have ear holes, so I'll give it one."

I think you guys are jumping the gun about the text bubbles. Nowhere was it stated that all the characters would use the same exclamations, or if they were going to be used at all.
those quotes aren't a mainstay and most were done as a joke. I don't think they're going to be implemented and if they are, half of those won't be used.

The most logical solution is to make yourself 3 quotes inside the speech bubble to be used when taunting or losing. Be sure to use the template provided (you can have a big one for when you win, and the small ones for taunts and losses.)
