I'm currently ripping the Sailormoon 3DO but it requires editing cause the lineart merges with the background and unfortunately the emulator doesn't have the capability of disabling layers like winkawaks. Should I recolor the lineart with gray or black? Or maybe delete the lineart?

In cases like this, your only option is to learn how to rip from the files. There's an alpha transparency going on which can't be brought through from screenshot ripping.
