Anybody alive here?

Well, My manga was kinda pileing up, so I wnet through half of the stack so I should have something done later today since I stopped reading the manga in the pile for now.

Oh I'm sorry I don't really know how to spark interest into people.

Anyway I've been doing some edits with your Acorn. I figure since it doesn't move anywhere and it's an item why not have it face the screen?



Eh lousy edit but you get what I'm talking about. Oh and also I changed the eyes to match the style better. If you look at the sprites you'll see no one has big pupils.

Ohhh oops, I never paid attention to the pupils eheh.
That looks better than mine lol. I guess the texture doesn't have to match the model's then?
But something about it facing forward... IDK it seems to look more... lifeless? Not sure how to describe it.

No you're right they do look lifeless. These are just examples I whipped up. You should apply what you have been working on.

As for the textures, I failed to make something that looked cleaner and more organic. What can I say, its hard working with such a small space.

I think it'd look less lifeless with some animations

I might try that later but I dunno

What moves does Acorn have? Besides moving of course.

Hopping and that's pretty much it except for being hit.

All the acorn really needs are hopping and rotating animations.

I could probably -attempt- that (though if anyone else wants to try their version they can, I'm okay with it). Since no one's in any hurry I'll try to get to it when I'm able.

I don't think the acorn has a hit animation, I think most sentient BK collectables only had moving animations and throwing ones

Yup, all the acorn does is spin around and hop a bit.

Now the little worms you collect those guys crawl obviously.

So, here's the thing, I just found this thread, and I love it enough to stop lurking for a bit! But I noticed something: Not to step on any toes, but that Grunty sprite... It's nowhere near ugly enough, so I tried my hand at fixing it up. So, for you consideration I suppose...

That... is 5 times better.

Hm... actually I don't know. It really doesn't look like Gruntilda. Those eyes they make her look... mentally challenged.
