HOLY SHIT MEGAMAN IN THE NEW SMASH BROS FUCK YES.
I haven't been this hyped for a game in a long time.
Don't forget Villager from Animal Crossing.
EDIT: In case anyone missed it...
This makes me all happy inside

How come? Is it that you finally get to see Peach for once where she is not kidnapped by Bowser?
I hope the wiiu has a Wiiu sports bundle at some point before all the big games like smash bros come out.

That too, but I was more pointing to the fact that they're using hand drawn artwork to show the characters.

Oh yeah... They did something like it in
Wario Land: Shake It, which pleases me. Models and sprites are nice, but sprites that are more like animated drawings brings me great thrill! If they ever make another Mario game (sans spinoffs) with hand dawn box art, I would flip out!
that art style
that nostalgia

Am I the only one getting huge Mario bros. 2 (USA) vibes from the new mario game?
I think that's the point, heh. They all have the characteristics they did in Mario 2
Wow! I'm surprised that there are so many people that actually enjoyed the black sheep of the Mario games! Normally, black sheep like Mario 2 usually end up getting hated for being too different (Zelda 2 and KH: Chain of Memories are good examples).
If all this nostalgia keeps up, will we ever get a game similar to the non-linear Super Mario 64? I think that would be a good next step.
Nostalgia is what I like nowadays since I can't get the money for those expensive consoles. I like playing those type of games, makes me feel good in knowing what I missed in my childhood.
looks like monster hunter 3 with guns and robots.
I hope its xenoblade 2. xenoblade is the best game on the wii.

But we kind of already have, it's Galaxy.
I mean yeah I know it's not like Mario 64 but considering that there are quite a few elements that were adopted from 64 (and not Sunshine I should add, since there weren't any voids in that Mario game) we kind of already got another one. Also I kind of want to add that how a game is non-linear is kind of subjective.
I mean to some extent Galaxy wasn't all too linear, but it was in no way linear compared to Mario 64 where you can grab whatever star you want in no order. That doesn't mean you can't play any of the levels out of order.
Just saying. If you want to play Mario 64, go play that or ether of the galaxy games.
Anyways I kind of like that we're finally getting another game where Peach is playable.
