anyway that's an attitude I don't want to have at all.

*makes mental note*
Phil Fish worked really hard to get where he is, and he's been through a lot in the progress. But it's definitely no reason to be such a big baby, hardships are supposed to make you stronger.
Bought this at a yardsale a couple years back for a quarter:

Supposedly it has a few dozen games on it which are pretty much crap, but I'd like to try them out just once anyways (mainly to review the whole device on my blog).

Problem is, I have no idea how to use it.

It plugs into something with this:

Any ideas?
RORSCHACH HELL YEAH.
@Kriven, It's my guess that what you have there is only a controller for a bootleg device, not the device itself.
That appears to be a sega genisis cable end, which probably means that it used to plug into another device that
would then be attached to the tv.

We have several Asian vendors at our local flea market, and they all have boxes full of simular products.

a quick search brought me to this page which has a review on your item.
It seems that you may only have the 2nd player controller, if so, I'm afraid your bootleg romp has been canceled. Sad

Interesting video about the Phil Fish thing.
Mostly I just like the way he says biscuits

Oh, you're right! It never even occurred to me that this might be a player two controller, I just assumed it was a model that lacked the Famicom game port. Looking at the pictures, though, it does look like the bottom of his controller has an area where mine would plug into it!

I'm disappointed that I don't actually have anything to play, but at least I can be put to rest knowing I don't have a device I'll never be able to figure out.

Thank you for discovering this page for me!
Nintendo launches a new Miiverse called the Onett Times what i find interesting is their going to be official updates about the series, does this mean mother 1 and 3 could be on the virtual console soon or possibly a mother 4 even though Itoi said he wouldn't make another doesn't mean Nintendo can't.

I guess they're trying to make the series more popular or something, or trying to promote something that's upcoming. Perhaps SSB4?

On a side note, you need to add more periods and commas man D=. I had to read that at least 3 times to understand what you were trying to say.
Here's a Zelda movie that was pitched from Imagi Animation Studios in 2007, producers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Astro Boy feature films. Ultimately Nintendo shut the thing down, and this is all we have from it which was finally shown to the public this year, the art style reminds me of alot of Disney films 0.0

Thank god that didn't make it. The Zelda franchise belongs in the game universe. Making it a movie would never really work, a lot of it due to the fact that characters would HAVE to be changed, majorly in a lot of cases, such as Link, I can't think of a way in which he doesn't talk for a 90+ minute feature, and I really don't like that style they used.
I don't like movies based off of games*. Games based off of movies can sometimes work, but usually it's a pretty poor result as well.

I think that the main issue is the big difference between the two; interactivity. When you make a movie out of a game, the watcher has no control over any aspect, taking away a big part of what made the game good. This has to be replaced by something else, which wasn't present in the game, and thus it doesn't feel the same.
Similarly, when you turn a movie into a game, space has to be made for player interaction. Usually, a lot of the story and cinematography is lost, again giving the game a completely different atmosphere than the movie.

There are probably multiple exceptions on both sides, but that's how I feel about them in general.

*Wreck-It-Ralph doesn't count. None of the main games involved actually exist, and there are only occasional references to ones that do.
I absolutely HATE that animation design. They all look like what a 40-year old would come up with to appeal to the "hip, young crowd" demographic.
The zelda franchise has a very defined, unique style to its, artwork (pick any game, they are all beautiful)
Why in anyone's right mind would it be okay to degrade the quality to "Saturday Cartoon?"
This seriously looks like the Artist and storyboarders don't really know their source material.
If anything, that would be why this was shut down by nintendo.
LEGEND OF ZELDA THE MOVIE STARRING; Scenester mall skater Link.
It certainly reminds me of the CG Turtles movie. I like it (the art style, not the idea of a Zelda movie).
