STAB = Same Type Attack Bonus
If a Pokemon uses a move which matches their typing, their base attack damage gets a FIFTY PERCENT boost (and 100% with the Adaptability ability!)

I think he meant "stat training" Tongue

I'm only up to Roxy's gym because this week IRL is hell week ):
And is it only me or do a lot of people spend like a half hours trying to figure out what to name themselves?

Cinemarella laughed when she discovered this firsthand and said "I guess it's a good thing you don't nickname your Pokemon" ):
STABs are basically a good thing to have when doing a grinding run, and can save the trouble for charmander players.
hey guys I have a ton of eggs on my white version
would anbody be interested in getting a mystery egg for there journey?
(also I know what stab is hehehe)
Still haven't gotten my copy yet, waiting for it in the mail. But when I do I'll be doing challenge mode so I'm waiting for someone with Black 2 to beat it.
I've been using the Dream Radar, and getting a loadsome of items and pokemon.
So far I'll be starting White 2 with:

Riolu, Munna, Sigilyph, Swablu, Igglybuff, Drifloon, Tornadus and Thundurus.
All DW abilities.
Got a lot of items too, got 2 moon stones and a couple of reivives, and a load of shards.
Easily the best Pokemon game I've played. I'm really surprised by the quality of this game.

If anyone with Black 2 beats their game, I'd love to trade you a White 2 key and start a new file on Challenge mode once I've beaten it

Sounds good.

also on a slightly unrelated not.

"I'm a Heartbreaker... My Name... Charles..."

That's the only non-important trainer in this generation that is utterly badass in so many ways he has to be given an introduction and a back story.

He also invented Rotation and Triple battles.

Obviously this guy is the shit.
I heard that in this game, when your repel runs out it asks you if you want to use another.

Holy crap, what took them so long?
Sweet, just caught a Thundurus with Dream Radar! Loving how it looks.
I already beat skyla and evolved all my pokemon except servine
At the E4, taking this time to flesh out my team which is currently:

-Keldeo Lv. 50
-Zoroark Lv. 50
-Flygon Lv. 49
-Mothim Lv. 22 (in training)

Yet to catch/train:
-Magnezone
-Cryogonal
I beat it
great run, I loved all the pokemon I used and even got the oppurtunity to use genesect which Ill never get to do again
I ran the self imposed challenge of collecting every pokemon in the habitat dex in there first available location with pokeballs, which boosted my levels and my play time
I played set mode, for the additional challenge and faster gameplay
my final team:
Maractus 67
Golduck 66
Genesect 65
Gigalith 66
Magmortar 65
Electross 65

I'd actually like to go back and play white again as a prequel
I think I'd be able to respect it a lot more now
FINAL BOSS TIME!

My team:
Samurott Lv. 58
Ampharos Lv. 57
Lucario Lv. 57
Flygon Lv. 58
Unfezant Lv. 57
Zoroark Lv. 57
just started and so far it has been really shitty
worst first gym ever, second gym was also disappointing and it's filled to the brim with obligatory explainations and they drag me around to do stupid shit I don't care about
I like the variation of pokemon to catch in the first routes though
Yeah I have to agree, I beat cheren with such ease it was a joke. Roxie was a joke too, Magnemite raped her so hard it wasn't even funny.
Since when was Pokemon ever a challenge anyway? I find all the "explanations" for things to be more like immersion and character development, something Pokemon has been lacking for a while. I kind of like it, but I wont shove it down anyone's throat like I do with 3rd gen.
