Easy tasks like that should be available in nearly every game engine.
Could I do it with vSNES if so how?
You can only disable this kind of effects with it.

awwww but thanks for telling me I guess the false loop could be used so you can emulate the ripple through lesser means like MS Paint
while being on the topic of executing stuff How do you rip maps/levels?
zsnes -> F1 -> save snapshot, animations with snapshot incr frm and incr frm only
non-visible parts with vSNES.

so there is no way to use a savestate to show me the level map?
vSNES shows you a part of the level.
Only the majority of the fighting stages and some mode 7 maps can be fully displayed.

So I have to take pictures of the stage and piece them together?
That's the only way.
For the panorama background (which follows you everywhere): This one "should" be fully displayed in vSNES, but you better see for yourself.
Did you ever want to live in an oceanside mansion with a beautiful view of a distant island?
Well Why not the haunted, overgrown, spider infestion known as the Mojo Mansion!
What if you stand right above the blank spot and make a quicksave?
By the way, isn't there a scrolling background?
Unfortunally, it don't work Davy.
The Genesis version has a "map mode" debbuging function, absent in SNES...
By the way, I've already ripped half of the Stage 2-1, so you can let this one for me (if you don't mind, I want to see you riping all the others as soon as possible!
).

We will do levels seperatly so I will rip the levels for
Mojo Mansion
Muddrake Mayhem
Sacrifice of Maui
The flying duckman
and you should rip
The ninja training grounds
Test of Duckhood
Realm of the dead
and Mojo Stronghold but you already ripped that
meaning we will work together to get all the level maps and you get the more ninja releated levels
Deal!
Will you continue to rip the enemies??? (please do it!!!)
