I think I'm gonna make at least one more animation and call it quits for a while. I need to start working on my pieces for an upcoming art show that features media art(art based on video games, movies, books, etc).
BUT I'M AT THE STAGE WHERE I'M ADDICTED TO THIS SPRITING FFF.

I decided to animate it similar tp how Mario looks over his shoulder in the game.
It just looks so..intimidating. Really shows Mario's competitiveness. Since you know..he's been in every sport freakin imaginable.

Only sport he hasent been in is American Football/Rugby

Rainbow Road is too easy


Funny thing, Bowser's head is different when he jumps. I have no idea why Segway won't let you keep the closed mouth frame you currently have.

Also, the characters have more victory sprites than just jumping. IIRC, Koopa even had an animation where he gave a 'yo mama' head shake while he swung his campaign bottles into each other. I'll try to finish the cups as everyone and see their different animations for you.

EDIT: Ah, Koopa's 'yo mama' head shake is coded from what I'm seeing. And Bowser has an animation where he raises his arms (you did this) and then momentarily bobs up and down while his arms are up (1-pixel), this is most likely coded as well. So nothing to fear I guess, you're on the right track.

Where did the jumping sprites come from? We don't have them on the site. Geez, that section is a mess...

EDIT: If we have an items/Lakitu sheet we can delete that horrible sheet by Bacon from way back when.

Yeah, the sheets that are at the very bottom of the Super Mario Kart page are so weird haha.

One more sidetracking comment; Are there regional differences for victories? I've heard some of the characters drink the champagne in some versions.

Yeah, we actually discussed about that before lol Peach basically chugs champagne in the Japanese version.
