SCP containment breach is a beta mod
point where
my point is, you are pointing out/defending a game that is just like
i dunno
every other beta/mod that is supposed to be scary
actually, this makes me want to make a scary game of my own, brb
I don't think alexmach likes this game very much at all...
yeah... i don't know why though i found the model in the other game he was talking about was just covered in black and didn't look scary, plus the fact i just hate monsters that randomly appear from out of nowhere.
aww he's so cute not scary that monster you showed alexmach1 i would actually go up and give a hug to it
, i might give that game a shot though and see if my opinion changes when i play it.
Played last night. Shits were taken.
However, as Slender Man gets closer, it'd be nice if the tentacles began to come out, maybe making a sound like the one from The Thing.

And maybe his head starts to cock to one side as you hear bones popping or something and his head comes closer as the screen gets fuzzier... then it goes black.
Wow Tonberry2k glad someone here has played it and is now giving good suggestions you should send those ideas to the guy who made this game, his email, is in the read me that came with the game when you downloaded it
I actually never liked the idea of tentacles. It makes him seem less scary.
I think the more human he is, the more frightening he is. Slenderman should be a subtle horror. From a distance it seems like a man in a suit... but you take a second look... and something seems horribly wrong.
Also he's scarier when he moves. Just standing there isn't good enough. In an early Marble Hornets entry you can see him walk slowly by and peer into the window!
Now that's pretty scary.

I think it'd be best if from a distance, he appeared completely normal, but as he gets closer, he becomes more elongated, and if he's really close, he holds himself up over you with his tentacles. I still think putting him in a suit cheapens the fuck out of him, though, I had enough of Agent Smith by the time I was halfway through the first Matrix movie.
SCP: Containment Breach is being a dick about running properly, though. I'll give my opinion once I've given it a proper run. Edit: Oh, got 'er running well. I'll play it once I don't have a six-year-old to babysit.
Also, that sound is a cicada's mating call.
Sorry 'bout the DP, but there's another similar title to SCP: Containment Breach and Slender. It's called Hide, and
I like it.
Hide looks interesting it has 8 bit graphics i think? But i'll give it a try later and see if i like it as well
