this is literally the lowest form of rebuttal to criticism.
you do not have to be capable of making good pixel art to be allowed to criticize someone else's pixel art.
please try again.
You make it seem like we're supposed to be perfect, CBL. You see this topic is going all wrong just because of a few specs that shouldn't have a big deal to begin with.
You guys make it seem like you can't deal with 999 Lives, or, SMAS Graphics. And out of all the SMB3 Fangame Clones I've seen, we're trying to bw unique and original, not a clone. I can't see you guys helping with ASE or giving good appreciation seeing the negativity spawning around this topic.
I have no more to say at this point in time, and it would make us really happy if you guys would understand what we're trying to do. Brilliant fangames don't just come from the ground up.
I can't see what's above me because my 'helpful' HUD is crowding the entire screen!!
Seriously, I'm not going to repeat myself again. Stop arguing. I don't want to have to close this topic and hand out warns. That goes to everyone.
Calm down and chill out. I'll clean this topic later and move posts into our trash area.

How do you expect me to react to criticism like this? This is worse than the last topic I made here. SMW:ASE isn't going to die a painful death just because it doesn't have different graphics.
you're taking this all way too personally.
we're not being negative, we're trying to help you understand problems in your presentation so that you can fix them.
perfection is never expected.

This, exactly this. We are setting aside this fangame from the other SMB3 Clones out there with new, original ideas that would enhance the gameplay, graphics that are pleasing to the eye, and an engine that was built from the ground up.

No, you've got it entirely the wrong way around. All we're doing is telling you things you could improve on (albeit not sugar-coated), and what
you're doing is finding excuses (and often flawed or downright ridiculous ones) for why you shouldn't make the changes, rather than considering what we're saying and giving
legitimate reasons for why you shouldn't change it, if you can think of any. Things like "I like it that way" or "why don't you do better?" are not legitimate reasons. If you tried listening to the comments we're making, you'd find much less hostility. You have to consider that your work is
not perfect, and that there
are flaws in it. Our job is to help you find them. Don't take the criticisms personally, as you seem to be doing. Don't just defend your work mindlessly. That's just stubborn-minded stupidity. Try actually considering the changes we're suggesting. We're not suggesting them out of spite, or because we don't like you. We're suggesting them for a reason: because we want to help you make your work
better. So far, your arguments against them have been far less than satisfactory.

Believe it or not, there are facts behind their reasoning on why my peers Mikeystar and Camtendo are posting and defending their arguements. And
we KNOW that nothing is perfect.
