Patrat has a lot in common with prarie dogs plus a lot of other small rodent types

Ooh, ya got me. That'd be interesting.

Another bug type I want to see is pill bugs, unless someone can find a Pokemon that fills that gap.
Pillbug(I'm too lazy to show the image...)

Eh... Whirlipede is based more on pill millipedes than pill bugs... but okay, I'll concede on that. I think it would be cool to have a final evolution stage be based around the rolling up concept. It'd look really cute given the in-battle animations now, too.

And as for Koalas... well, for cute bear-like things there's still Teddiursa... but if you allow me to get tecnical, the pouch characteristic found in marsupials is represented by Kangaskhan.

Heh, this is fun. Keep 'em coming.
I want a cockroach
Venepede is similar to a cockroach(I almost said Chaoxys for a moment)

Cake.
You mean Japanese Cake, right? Tongue
Normal cake can't have eyes or a mouth.

And yes the cake is a lie.

Okay, geeeez. Still, my point about non-animal ones stands. They were there from the start.

Humans are animals.

And the Ralts line, and the Machop line, and the Slak.. wait, that's a sloth!

And I belive Deoxys is an extraterrestrial humanoid, so that rules it out.
Grah! You people make me sick! No one has mentioned a Hummingbird!? I've wanted a Hummingbird Pokemon forever!

Stork? They could use it to explain Pokemon breeding in a kid friendly way

("When a mommy and a daddy Pokemon play together in a daycare, the Legendary Storik descends from the heavens and gifts them with a mysterious Pokemon Egg!")
