No? What the hell are you talking about? I mean, I'm not one to talk as I tend to enjoy every gen, but from what I've seen, Gen 5 has gotten a wildly positive review from fans.

Gen V is the only gen since Gen II where I like more designs than I don't.

So I'm going to have to say it doesn't blow, no.

I think we can do with another ninja based pokemon as long as there's a pirate based pokemon to parallel it.

No seriously, if you're saying that gen 5 is bad and you've forgotten how awful Gen 4 pokemon were then you're cooked. Gen 5 is probably just as likeable compared to the 2nd Generation if not the first. And that was something pokemon needed for awhile now.

I really can't imagine a non-crappy pirate pokemon.
There was a really good grass Stegosaurus and water... Water Buffalo Pokemon some fan drew. Dinosaurs always look good Pokemon-ised. And although we have Tauros and Miltank another cow like pokemon would be cool.

A sheep Pokemon which stayed looking like a sheep would also be nice. I don't know maybe an alternative Flaffy evolution or something.

Is there a mole Pokemon (no I'm not counting Diglet, I mean one that looks like a mole)?
