Here in Egypt they're fairly common, that is you can find them relatively easily if you look for them. Had them a few times and they are nice.
Which reminds me, Picnic is my favourite candy bar. Ugliest thing around but delicious.

I really hate sweets to be honest... except for coconut and banana for the most part.

Grapes/Oranges/Apples are good fruits
But in terms of Sweets, nothing beats a Vanilla Bean Shake/Coolata.

CHOCOLATE! It's yummy and goes great with so many things. It's great as icecream (Ben and Jerry's choc brownie icecream yes please), milkshake, bar, bite-size pieces, sauce for pancakes or icecream, the list goes on forever!
I tried Polish chocolate and Dutch chocolate, there was a Dutch one that was a bar with bits of cookie in it. Can't remember the name but it was delicious.
Best is Cadburys Though as much as I love chocolate I don't eat it everyday lol. (If I could, I would though). It's a somewhat rare treat so it's best to make the most of it.

THIS.
Nothing else.
THIS ONE THING.
You make some marble cake.
Slice it horizontally.
Put vanilla ice cream in between the slices.
Wrap everything in some alu foil.
Place it in the freezer for about one or two days.
Seriously, you have to try it. If you don't, you're missing out.

Just a few things off the top of my head:
My aunt makes the best cheesecake flan. A mix of flan and cheesecake, it's absolutely amazing.
Peanut Butter Pie. Oreo cookie pie crust, peanut butter filling, AWESOME.
Also a recipe I recently stumbled upon when we had an excess of plums at our house, plum upside-down cake.

I gotta try that. Maybe I'm just craving peanut butter right now (don't get it easily here) but it sounds spectacular.

A few hours ago...
My mom left to go to the grocery store...
She came back with...
A box of...
RED FRIGGIN' VELVET FRIGGIN' CAKE!
Needless to say, it totally made my day, as I am currently suffering from an upper respiratory infection.
