He didn't. You might be thinking of his pallet in the GBC deluxe version.

There's still the Super Mario 4 Rambo game with the gold palette at the beginning:

I could help out with NES, SNES, Game Boy, PC, Genesis, and Arcade games with low-quality icons.
We could start by making a list by system of which ones need better icons.

Why don't we make a separate topic for that so we don't get too far off track here?

A bit of trivia, that was done simply by assigning the palette of the ? Blocks/Coins onto the title screen, and thus, can be replicated easily. The title for SMB2J does the same thing, with the large 2.
Otherwise, once the separate thread is going, I'll see what I can do to help.
EDIT: I fixed the Items sheet for SMB, one of the colors was incorrect.

Um okay I'm confused, what goes where? Does this all go in all the sections you mentioned, or...? There is already an enemy sheet in SMB2J that looks pretty complete, but does that only go in SMBANN? It'd help if you could clarify.

I got confused too. That's why these aren't up yet, haha.

My apologies for not clarifying on this earlier. Here's where all the SMB sheets would go:
The "Items & Objects" sheet goes under SMB and SMB2J. It doesn't go under ANNSMB because the Star, Castle Flag, and Axe graphics are different.
The "Enemies" sheet goes under SMB, SMB2J, and ANNSMB. It contains a cleaner pallette (IMO) and some sprites using colors not seen in Ragnarok's sheet: an additional palette for both Goombas, the Pirhana Plants with the human head (plus upside-down variants of both Pirhana Plant variants), and additional Bullet Bill, Blooper, Bowser, and Cheep Cheep color schemes seen from only hacking the level attributes in a vanilla SMB ROM. Podobos also do not animate in SMB, SMB2J, and ANNSMB, only in the Game Boy Color game Super Mario Bros. Deluxe was that implemented. And not to mention the sheet also rotates Bowser's sprite properly to fit with all the other enemies facing left, whereas in Ragnarok's sheet, he's facing right.
And finally, the Tileset sheet goes under SMB and SMB2J, because with ANNSMB, it uses a combo of both SMB and SMB2J tiles with some customs (the microphone replacing the fence, and the Fuji TV logo replacing the Axe)
And here's an entire new sheet I completed recently.
Super Gussun Oyoyo (SNES)
Super Gussun Oyoyo 2 (SNES)
If the background color should be something else, let me know.

...Phew... I think it's all sorted. Should I delete the old sheets from SMB and SMB2J? I wasn't sure if yours had everything that they had. I also noticed you do not seem to have the hammers that the Hammer Bros. throw, among other little sprites that were on the Misc. sheets and stuff.
01-08-2013, 07:00 PM
The hammers that the Hammer Bros throw are on the Items and Objects sheets.
I also forgot to include earlier that SMB2J and ANNSMB should use the same "Mario Bros" sheet that's present on SMB's list of sprites. And the Tilesets sheet I've supplied also goes in SMB2J, as it's a bundle of both SMB and SMB2j's sheets (which ANNSMB also uses).
I think to make things less confusing, all four sheets should go under all three games, and I'll prepare an "Other All Night Nippon Exclusives" sheet for ANN's star, axe, flag, Mushroom Retainer, and Peach replacements.
I was also planning on doing an improvement of Techokami's Pac-Man sheet, as it's missing some in-game objects (pellets and the ghost pen's gate) and does not feature correct palettes based on the Arcade version of the game, since it's a rip of the GBA port featured on Pac-Man Collection.

I thought you said the items shouldn't go in ANNSMB though... so uh, is everything all good now? What else needs fixing?
01-08-2013, 07:49 PM
Yes, everything is good now; I thought over it and figured since ANN doesn't have much exclusive content that's not used in SMB and SMB2J, why not?
The only thing now that has to be done is adding the tileset sheet to SMB2J, in place of The IT's tileset rips. IT's rip contains a few customs (the Pirhana Plants angled, and it's a bit bright in hue. And as with before, it's lacking a few of the pallettes available. There are a few particular tiles I did miss in my initial rip, the mushroom stems from AMMSMB, and when I do add it, I'll add in the microphone scenery object and the Fuiji TV logo that's used as the Axe's replacement.
Also, I do have to fix a particular something in my Gussun Oyoyo submissions. I'm going to make the sheet icon say "Gussun & Oyoyo" instead of "Players" and move the last three "swaying on edge" frames up a row to join the earlier parts of said animation. From there, I'll see what I can do to improve on the Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man sheets, and if I'm in the groove, Pac Man Plus.
EDIT: Here are the sheet updates.
The "Tileset" sheet from SMB, SMB2J, and ANNSMB.
The "Items and Objects" sheet from SMB, SMB2J, and ANNSMB.
The fixed "Gussun & Oyoyo" sheet, along with it's corresponding sheet icon, to be put into Supper Gussun Oyoyo and Super Gussun Oyoyo 2.
2nd EDIT:
For Pac-Man (ARC)
EDIT: Corrected a small color error found in the vulnerable ghosts. The eyes and mouth are meant to be peach in color, not white. However the flashing vulnerable sprites are still correct.
