I'm... tempted to wait this one out. One of us would die, but the two that remained would have a 50/50 shot at getting it.
Ultimately, I think this is vague enough for us to greatly benefit from not killing someone this round. From a townie perspective, a chance to hit a mafia 1/3 is better than 1/4.
I figured I'd put all my cards on the table, since it's highly likely I'll be the one to die this night.
Sol made that post defending Britt, but think about it: that doesn't make any sense from a mafia perspective. Britt was being accused pretty heavily - if Britt had gone down, and flipped mafia, Sol would've appeared super obvious.
If Britt is mafia though, and Sol was trying to save his buddy, then he would've had to have known that he had enough sway to turn a bandwagon around.
But, then there's this post. If Sorario dies, Sol looks clean. If Sol dies, Sorario looks clean.
Britt, of course, has that whole "I think Sol and myself are innocent" thing, but that still seems odd from a mafia perspective, due to the reasoning above. He also has that RBY thing, but I'm not sure if we should follow that or not.
Then we have the question of Mutsukki. I know for a fact he's more suspicious then he lets on. He pm'd me this.
Okay, first, he's been sucking up to me for ages. That's probably why I haven't tried investigating him that hard, and to be frank, I should've. But here's the part that strikes me as odd. A while ago, I told Mutsukki to vote for Sol:

This shows some flaw in his logic. Maybe he didn't catch on that you're pretty much a confirmed innocent (or incredibly clever!). I don't actually understand what that means, but it must mean something! He could have mentioned me or Britt, he seems suspicious of you for some reason.
Also Britt seems to want to pin some blame on me. I think this is a good opportunity to call them out somehow. I wish I was smarter at this game to form out plans ahahaha. We could deceive them somehow with information they don't know, but what...

I have no power or anything, so if it ever comes so that I'll have to sacrifice myself (by drawing attention, I have some ideas), I'll gladly do it.
Now, for what this PM is really worth, I think my early bandwagon may have some use. Like you said, if Sol is a werewolf, he's the sneakiest ever, because I can only believe he really is a good guy, he's the only one that unvoted for Zada after what he said (I wasn't on the PC at the time), it would be weird that he's a baddie.
But Britt, for some reason I've been suspecting him since the begining of the game, but had zero leads (I went for Zadaben because he was the most obvious). We should analyze that. If it's wrong, then welp, you'll probably be sure I'm a baddie, but I'm prepared to die one way or another anyway.
I know you don't suspect him, but would you mind voting for Sol anyway? I need to check something.
Well, I think reaching majority on Sol would be a mistake and I may be unable to unvote if anything, but if you have a plan, sure, why not.
Do you want me to start it?
Actually, he just posted a response, and it seems legit enough. Let's go after Britt, see where that goes.
I sure hope redblueyellow isn't making us fall for a trap, since it's kinda suspicious that he would have been helping us, misinformation like Gold said.
Well, if anything comes up, I'll try to check and try to follow what you guys are thinking

Just to put this out there, even if I was the last enemy, there is no way sol would have a way of telling, nor would I have been able to tell if he was.
Two different alliances and all.

Oh right, forgot.
So anyway, I guess all we have left to do today is wait. Unless anyone has a point they'd like to make.

I'll address those points, acknowledging that I may come out more suspicious if anything. Let's go by parts:
Quote:Okay, first, he's been sucking up to me for ages.
Did you forgot, or just intentionally left out that I've been contacting you and Gold since I was pretty sure you two were innocents? This may be part of my naive nature, but you 2 laid out your classes, no one CC'd, and like I said in one previous PM, you have a job that was not present on the other game, making it hard for you to be a liar.
The first PM I sent individually to you and Gold, because I didn't know you could add mutliple recepients (even if it's written there). Only when Sol PM'd us that we should all vote for [robo9] I was aware of that fact. Actually, looking back at it, he sent a PM to all of us (including Shyadezubuzu), EXCEPT Sorario (and [robo9] for obvious reasons). I know he was "suspicious" of Sorario, but the fact that he didn't PM him to join the [robo9] bandwagon is very weird.

It is indeed my first game, I have no way to prove that though ahahaha. But really, I just used some logic? I mean, this here makes it pretty clear you were just testing your waters.

As in, "I need to check how that will go", and since I was up for any plan, since I didn't have any idea of what to do, I accepted it.
You are all probably very suspicious of me at this point and I don't think I helped, but be reminded that if it ends up for me being banned, that the baddie is probably laughing his ass right now, because he didn't have to do anything at all as I did the job of taking suspicion off him by myself.

Extending the day for another 24 hours to let you guys discuss and because I'm tired.
09-11-2012, 07:32 PM
So what are you guys thinking?
I'm not quite sure what we should do.
I'm not quite sure what we should do.

Me neither. I think waiting is our best option really, it's easier to kill someone off tomorrow
09-11-2012, 08:59 PM
I would've liked to avoid that if possible, due to my time constraints, but if that's what you guys want to do then lets go for it.

I figured that, assuming you're a townie, that would be obvious. I was mostly trying to list any suspicious behaviors at all, since I was pretty sure I'd die. Well actually, since I posted that it's not as likely anymore but whatever. Anyway, if we approach this from a scum perspective, it makes sense to suck up to people who could be very easily be read as innocent to appear as such, especially since there were multiple scum teams. Provided I'm innocent, if myself or Gold died, you could be skipped over as "the friend of those two innocent guys." If either of us had been scum, and you pm'd us, it'd look pretty fishy.

But it also seems like the kind of thing Sol would do to make us believe it is Sorario. He's experienced enough so that going back and reading any of his old posts might constitute a trap.

I don't find the fact you can work it out suspicious. I'm suspicious that you knew that a false bandwagon plan was. Which isn't to say you're scum, but it means you're more experienced then you've implied, either by watching a couple mafia games or something. One thing that makes me sure of your intellect is how well you've countered my argument just now.
If you're scum, you could've been in communication with Sol and he'd be like "nah go ahead and vote for me, he's probably doing a false bandwagon." Additionally, you voted for Sol knowing it would be a false bandwagon, and expressed discomfort at the idea of reaching majority, which makes it sound kinda fishy. HOWEVER. If you were in communication with Sol, and you are scum, that means Britt can't be. And you wanted to get rid of Britt and defend Sol, based on RBY's comment, which means Sol would've had to have been cool with picking off Britt. Which doesn't make any sense, unless you factor in that he didn't defend Britt until I was all "Yeah, if he comes up innocent, I'm gonna go after Sol." At which point Sol might have freaked and gave that really awkward defending post with two "haha"s in it.
Again, I just figured I'd go ahead and put out all of your suspicious behaviors, since a lot of it is PM based, from my perspective. If you're scum or not, I don't really know for sure.
Anyway, I'm still going to wait until tomorrow.
Also, if I die tonight, and turn up innocent, don't take this is as OH MAN MUTSUKKI MUST BE GUILTY. Reason your way through it. Same with any suspect.
EDIT: whoops fixed some grammar and some tags

If I was a baddie, do you really think I would kill you this night? That would be way too suspicious, why would I want to frame myself? If that happens, it's because somehow I ended up being super suspicious and that's the perfect set-up so the baddie can frame me. I honestly thought that PM would end up becoming public, I knew how fishy I sounded, but I had no other choice or other person to contact, really. I needed to discuss strategy with someone.
I'm actually hoping the baddie picks me off this night, it's less pressure and then I can just say "welp, I told you, I wasn't as smart as you all thought"

That's kinda why I said "hey if i die don't think mutsukki did it, that's kind of an obvious set up."
Of course, now that you've said it as well, you could potentially do it based on a "it's so stupid no one will think I've done it" kinda way, but eh.
Let's just wait until next night so we can see who's left.

If your plan is to wait until the next night, I'd prefer it if you voted for "no-one", rather than just left it blank. Regardless, I'm going to postpone this another day, because I'm far too tired to run a night post right now (I've gone for a 2-day work placement, which has proved to be pretty tiring).
