If you want real innovation, look up Koopaling boss battles in New Super Mario Bros. U.

NSMB2 literally uses the same exact gimmicks and only changed the arena layout.
(Don't even get me started on the rest of the game, it's an utter piece of recycled bullshit.)

EDIT: The topic title should probably be changed to 'Koopalings' or something similar.
Ugh, I watched the rest of the boss battles I hadn't seen yet and they get progressively worse. I thought it was cool that Wendy called the fish in to be more difficult, but then you see stuff like Morton and it's just sad.

I do like the Wii U bosses they showed so far. At least they are given even more individual styles to the bosses, and so far none even had magic wands.

This should be the Duck Tales thread now, because I loved that show so much.
We should make our own Bowser family tree.
Holy crud dude I actually remember that tree. (It had the Dutch names but it was the same tree.) Sir Eider particularly is giving me nostalgia.

But this is basically as close as a Bowser family tree as we're gonna get:

And he just adopted the Koopalings or something.
Are we only counting the games?
I think games are as close to canon as we're gonna get. Cartoons or mangas or anything else was probably thought about even less than the games (if possible), there are probably quite a few contradictions, not only with the Bowser family but maybe even with the Mario brothers or Peach.
Where's Ludwig von Drake?
He's in that big zigzag line.

...

I've only played one game with the Koopalings and one game with Bowser Jr, all others have only had Bowser. I'm no professional on this, I probably shouldn't have made that tree but I felt like nobody else was going to Blank
Ton was talking about the Donald Duck family tree, Ludwig von Drake is the one scientist duck character.

Despite those clashing sources, but he also has italian heritage. Which makes him an american-mushroom kingdom-italian citizen. It's really weird.

it's just a way of adding characters that are related to the base character without having to compromise him/her with a wife/husband. Nothing else to discuss here.

And where does Daisy, Launchpad, and Ludwig fit in? They all have close ties, and are considered family friends (along with Gyro and Ludwig von Drake)!

There's also the "Which came first, chicken or egg?" debates that are going on. Interesting stuff too.

He's not related to Donald Duck. This is the "Donald Duck Family Tree".

So how far removed from Donald are Daisy and her nieces?
