I know I have to fix a couple of things and add in the flamethrower also, but how is this for a v.1?

Pretty good, but his left arm looks like it alone is as long as he is tall...
Maybe he's a monkey of some sort?

He has pretty long arms but it could just be from his massive gloves, I will fix it up a little though because it does look a tad long.

it's not that great at all. more contrast and hue shift, the legs look hella off, and the yellow is way too green. you also should put some shine on the rubber.
