Well, the game will have 12 character total, 4 or which are unlockables. This character is one. The 8 starting characters are suppose to be "normal" characters. (Knights, Peasant, Jester, ect.) the 4 unlockable are more... "Special" characters. (King, Traveler(Chinese Take-out box), Undertaker, and the Time-Traveler) By "special" I just mean that they are more unique, i suppose.
He is a character from the future traveling back in time to fight in the "medieval" days. He is the "boss" of arcade mode, and beating him in arcade mode is how you unlock him.
So he really isn't medieval, per se, but his character is from the future fighting in the medieval times. Its just supposed to put a twist in the game.
Quote:anyway this project's issues aren't even the spriting itself (yeah, it can be better) but the main issue is the character design. They need to take more advantage of the 'food' theme with claver references. For example, Tonberry's burger knight looks better in concept because of the french fry sword and pickle shield: they have to do with the character, both as knight and hamburger. You should go for this in all the designs.Yeah, I'm still tossing that idea around. When I first thought of the idea, they were just supposed to be food characters in medieval attire, hence the helmets and weaponry and all that good stuff. It is a great idea, I love the idea, I just have to think of all the characters new weaponry, because not all characters can use toothpicks. lol
You understand what I'm saying though? I do like the idea of using "food" in more places, like the fry sword and pickle shield, but I also like characters having medieval attire, like the metal helmet. Maybe there is a happy medium I could go for.
