Okay, I guess I'll post some more then, since everyone seems so interested in it.
Spritefagging in a Drawfag thread, I took up someone's elven fire mage request. Not sure as to what color to make the robes yet, so I'm open to suggestions on that.
Finished most of the elf mage. Now to add in the fire effects.
After a chat with a certain Haro I realized that my scale is off by a noticeable amount in accordance to Sonic Advance sprites. Current scale is set up as 19 pixels=2 feet.
(Also, Haro claims his sprite to be 6'2", but he's silly. 8D )
Taking in some advice I received on the hat, I tried to make it look better. Head below the full sprite is the one with the edited hat.
Also, I still would like some opinions on whether or not I should adjust my spriting scale.
Normally in sonic advance sprites, they don't have a shine
I'm not spriting it in Sonic Advance style, but trying to sprite it in scale to it.
Shazam; main sprite improved further and fire-magic effects finished.
I don't like that fire... It looks more like a red ball with a string coming out from it. Try giving it more contrast and make the character's shading different to match the fire's lightsource.
While I did intend for the stream to look like a ribbon, I can see what you mean.
Edited the ribbon of magic to look a bit more wild, made the fireball look a bit less condensed, and begun adding some glow effect on the mage herself.
Comments are awesome.
Booster's pretty impressive, the right one is much more M&L-styled, and fairly lawless, as far as I'm concerned. As for the others, I can't say, as I'm not especially familiar with any of the styles.
