got the game today, then found a Max Script to open dff files.
Thanks to Roxas358 for the .txd viewer tool =)
Unfortunatly the models are so damn low poly and the smooth modifier won't fix that.and turbo smooth and mesh smooth will even ruin the whole thingĀ
here's chopper
It's okay if they're low-poly, they're still nice models.
well there's a problem with that script. sometimes, it doesn't open the files. I dunno why. I was able to open chopper but not the rest and when I tried to re-open chopper ( to test the script ) it didn't open DX
Well at least I saved chopper in .max
I'll keep trying to find out why does this happen
Hey i know that game!!.. i think its pretty cool that you can rip models from this game, especialy because its a ps2 game so its a lot more coded right?
but unfortunatelly there already too much dbz , naruto and one piece models arround.. i dont think any of the characters of this game will be quiet unique and irreplaceble by any other model that is on the site
but even so.. riping the maps could be help alot of people
I doesn't matter if there are other dbz / naruto / one piece models ( the only one piece models here are the ones I ripped from kaizoku musou )
I just wanted to rip the game and I did
And I'll rip the maps too
If it's rigged, try exporting the model as an SMD (quickest way to merge the model's polygon groups without losing the rigging), re-import it (with the "rebuild smoothing groups disabled) and weld the vertices by 0.001. Then add a "Smooth" modifier and it won't look so blocky.
If it's not rigged, then just use "Attach" in the Edit Mesh's modifier, and click on all of the other pieces of the model, then weld and smooth.
@06hypersonic60 - Sorry for just giving you a crappy screen rip at OBSG
I tried unpackeng the FPK with a hex editor for a while and had no luck. And... Why didn't anyone tell me Noesis can open FPK's? lol
- Random Talking Bush beat me to it
. So yeah, just weld all the vertices. If that doesn't work it can be a face normal issue.
@yoyonerd - Too many naruto/ dbz/ one piece models? All the Naruto and DBZ models are from Wii, PS2, and PSX. There are still tons of better DBZ and Naruto models that no one has yet that need to be ripped..
.....I call dibs on Naruto Storm Generations ripping
!
That's screen rip wasn't bad at all. Only the hands looked a little bit weird.
And the models aren't rigged. I'll try to weld the verts and see the result
Yosh. It worked!
here's the result:
thank you so much Random Talking Bush for the help and R3DAM since you wanted to help too
Could anyone link me to a good SMD I/O plugin for Max?
I have a few models that are seperate and need to be merged without losing their rigs
I'd appreciate if you wouldn't misuse other people's submission or project topics for such questions, but rather make your own (in QIT or Model Discussion).
