When a Charmander gets its tail wet doesn't it die? Maybe since Marowak is a ground type you can drown it.
To be honest, I SOOO lost track of Pok'emon after the second generation, don't know much about things, but a lot of the new baby and evolved forms looked stupid.
And Chao couldn't die from anything except old age, I kind of assumed it was the same with pok'emon. One of my friends said that once a pok'emon reaches its final stage, its completely immortal, but I don't know if that's true.
Frankly, I thought they never concentrated much on things like death for pok'emon because the franchise was meant to be a kids thing. Me no know.
It used to be that Pokemon would eat other Pokemon, but that was written off. Now they're all herbivores. Sucks. I liked it when Pokemon were like animals not people who you'd take a bullet for.
I would buy a game that was a straight up Pokemon eating other Pokemon game where all you do it eat Pokemon. That would be SO RAD.
Are you being sarcastic? Because Pokemon is not Kirby.
Oh no the game would be a completely different concept. I'm talking about something like Cubivore.

cubivore, now that is an awesome game. But it would be hard to eat a rock pokemon, wouldnt it?

Nah, my cat eats rocks all the time!
Honestly, and this is just my opinion, but I think that Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon would be a lot easier if you could eat the Pokemon you kill.
Instead of chomping on apples, just swallow that Metapod you killed earlier. And when you, an innocent Charmander evolves to a blood thirsty Charizard, you'd finally sink your teeth into a Legendary Chicken Burger.
Yeah but Pokemon are like people in that game. I don't think it would be right to eat someone like that.
Look I'm not saying that I want Pokemon to eat Pokemon as an in-game thing, but rather something that is mentioned and acknowledged in say... the Pokedex?
Weren't Ekans's supposed to eat Pidgeys?
Yeah, they screwed up initially showing a world where animals were replaced by Pokemon and then deciding that Pokemon were more than animals. More than animals, but people still use them for battle. Nice.
So fighting Pokemon is much worse than having dog fights. I can dig it.

They still do. When I caught a Tailow in Pokemon Diamond the Pokedex said something about them eating Wrumples.

and Sevipers are supposed to eat Zangooses but that doesn't happen either

Technically pokemon weren't suppose to replace real animals at first, since they were "monsters" and "real fish" in the early seasons of the anime all, but now they've replaced real animals. Another thing that came to mind is that the pokemon mangas make much more damn sense than the game and the anime:
Why didn't they say this shit in games? If not the show?
