Yeah once I re-clicked the link it showed up re-sized. He must have updated the organization because it was much smaller for me a few minutes ago.

dude, you got some.
honestly, i agree with him. if you want these sprites to be better, focus on fixing the low contrast in the shading, and try to give them a more established light source.

"Easier said than done, especially with the palette limitations."
....
I disagree. It's very possible for you to focus on what Crappy Blue Luigi said in his critique. You're just not trying it out.

it surely is hard to recolor a sprite with a fixed palette.

No need for such hostility. I thought we got over this already.

5th row, sprite 1-3: I would make the eyes darker.

it surely was hard to move a few parts without actually putting much of your own to generate new content, or at least something not your average sprite edit afficionado can perform in a couple of minutes.
you did a good job on that arm, i can tell you. but besides that, you really did nothing that actually "improves" the original sheet. that walking animations you tried to make make no sense(i'm going to asume you haven't tested them). not even taking the shading into account since that point has been already discussed.
the way bowser is designed in this game is to resemble a t-Rex. there is no way he could open his arms all wide and so because he literally has no shoulders. at most he can swing them up and down and thats all(and that being generous). there is a reason why he got redesigned halfway thru SMB64 and in later installments of the franchise to allow him a wider range of movements.

I'll keep that in mind.
Also, I believed in your first post you're actually referring to that sheet Sugi and Cary "Omega" Frank made that was on MFGG which have way more animations that what I got. This might as well be a better example of what I should be aiming for when it comes to sprite edits.

or even better: dont do sprite edits at all.

If the dude wants to do edits, let him do edits. There's no harm in it and they sometimes turn out great. He just needs some structure.
