I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion before: if we keep turning off edits completely it tends to repel new spriters. :/
We can suggest to do customs in order to branch out their skills, but if they refuse even after we explain why and how it would benefit them then it's best to not just keep rejecting the idea entirely or else we might lose potential future artists.
Plus, as this topic suggest, this is for some sprites that were made to be inserted into SMB3
MAS edition. You could say that Super Mario Fusion inspire me to do this; especially with the Bowser sprite. I already got a custom sprite thread
right here.
As for the Dry Bowser Koopa, I'm afraid I won't upload it without the custom sheet of King Bowser Koopa first.
I went ahead and redone the whole sheet anyway. This is what I got so far.
With enough work they could be something new, but the animation is a bit choppy for starters.
Might have something to do with the Frame rate.
Anyways, Here's Bowser in his Koopa Kopter.
Pretty cute. I like Bowser's new face. The Kopter looks like it's just a shrunk version of the SMW one though.
Also the sides are a bit cut off.
Yeah, the sides of the Clown Car (or whatevs it is called) is cut off. I think it was a mistake...
... looks cute. What an adorable Bowser... Nice.
Oh this is really nice. I think your final Bowser sheet could be submittable.
Far from it: still producing more actions for King Bowser.
Speaking of which:
Afterwords, I'll work on Dry Bowser from those sprites and then I'll submit them both in one sheet. Might do the Koopalings on when I have the chance though.
Might need to rename this topic since this is mostly about Bowser Koopa.
Also, a preview of something made TOTALLY from Scratch:
This is all getting better
I'm loving how your Giga Bowser's looking so far!
Your other Bowser would really be useful as an asset to some Mario fan comic/animation. When you're done, you should consider submitting it. ;D

All is going according to plan.
You see? Now that he has been practicing with edits he is able to branch out.
