Well, these are great, but like Cobalt said, there shouldn't be too much blank space if you were going to show only this much first. Make it a smaller-spaced picture, and once you start making other stuff on it, include them as well. The people here had given you examples (TorchMan.EXE, Ploaj, Tae Kwon Doug), so try and use their advices/examples to improve your own sprites.
They look good, but I can hardly see details. Sure, if we look closely we'll see details, but they're too small and when making sprites, you're not supposed to be able to see details only when you zoom in. From regular zoom length, you're supposed to already be able to see them.
That's all I have to say for now. Use the people I mentioned's advice to improve your drawing a bit, mainly details. I'm looking forward to it!
