Off with RAR files. WinRAR is nagware, and 7-Zip can't add anything to existing RAR files.

I agree with this. Although I guess we'll need to consult with Dazz to see if he approves. I'd be up for helping convert the existing .RARs into .ZIPs even.

Does Jimmy have a japanese name, and is he from Ape Escape 2? I did notice that the series ended up as a series of stories from three different perspectives, then Kakeru got popular enough that he pretty much became the face of the series alongside the titular apes.

Yep, He's the protagonist of Ape Escape 2 and his japanese name is Hikaru.

Gawd dangit, once my PS3's replaced I should play through the Ape Escape series. I've got the first three plus Pumped and Primed, but I haven't completed any of them yet...

It is, but that's not necessary. We may as well be doing that for most games since the JP names are usually different.
If OP wanted though the JP name could be added onto the file name on the site when people view them (example "Mega Man / Rockman".
