I might try to find some in-game shots of the characters and make icons out of those instead of the skins.

I tried to find shots myself, I checked google and all my sources and found no good shots (at least not good enough for me, I might be too exigent). Maybe I should replay the game myself, but my dvd drive is every day one step closer to the junkyard and isn't reading those PS1 black CDs anymore :/

Aw, Ok. I managed to find one decent shot of Squall and Rinoa on google, but not of the other characters.

Those two are easy XP
But I'm still to find a good shot for, just an example, the children version of them
