I think poison should be good against bug and fighting
pesticides and well... the fighting type relies on it's body so
water too i guess
there should also be a move/ability that allows poison to hurt steel
I mean acid eats through metal
Maaan I am so excited....
Okay, I loved Helioptile before, but now I love him even more, he's a freakin frill lizard.
It's interesting how designs I don't like in 2D or in drawing can look better to me when in 3D, and how this is also true in reverse.
Those names are fine except for Helioptile. It's uncomfortable to say.
Heel-Ee-Ohp-Tile?
Don't even know if I'm doing that right?
I'll go with Solamanda.

One still has to wonder....if the game is fully 3D now...why the HELL are they still fighting in discs?

I agree. I'm not too fond of that name, but perhaps it'll grow on me. Same thing occurred when I heard "Oshawott".

I still read that as "Oh-shi---WHAT!?"
Um, maybe it's me that has this opinion but...I'm not liking them using the 2D art of trainers in battle.
I didn't really feel this way with the sprites they used in games past, but...seeing that all the trainer classes look alike with no distinction between them, having to see the art constantly feels different than having to see sprites of them. Somehow. I can't really explain it. I mean, it'd be different if this was only for the game's bosses, like your rival(s) and gym leaders, as they were special characters.
Ugh, perhaps I'm not making any sense....
I always love to see larger art of characters. feels more uh, expressive? and you get to see more detail and it just looks cool imo. I don't imagine it'd take that much more time than it does for trainer sprites to do their little intro animation, either.

I guess, but there was novelty in it when you saw bigger art for boss characters instead. These are just regular trainer classes with nothing special.
Again, maybe it's just me that feels this way.
Would be alright if the bosses had short cutscenes involved though.
aw yeah , it became 3d.
Wondering , how long will it take them to make it as "Battle revolution".
Yeah wii , but nowdays , new consoles getting constructed and released quite fast , could we have a new portable one ?
Or....A pokemon game made for psp /vita :d
The full art actually looks pretty cool. Let's them show way more detail than the small trainer sprites. I can see Roku's point, in that it sort of diminishes seeing something like that on a boss character of sorts, like a Gym Leader, to let you know business is going down. Maybe they'll make those types of battle intros more dramatic.
