I'm betting there will be a few since they made it clear that older pokemon will be showing up this time (unlike in B&W).

About that.

I have a feeling they're just using those Pokemon as placeholders. But it does make me wonder if we're going to get another set of new Pokemon this time around.
Yes, they said the new line of pokemon should bring the total over 700.
No I mean an entire Pokedex full. A la Black and White.

Yes.

whoa
This is getting heavy Doc... Also, since foxes are canines, the zodiac is obviously still sound. (dog)
I just found out about it 2 days ago. Gameplay looks interesting. Art style is okay I guess. I already hate the names though. I hope they are just being used until Nintendo has real names in place. Guess they are running out of colors and materials to work with. The starters are a little disappointing as someonme pointed out we already have a frog and fox. I'm just going to wait and see where the direction of this new game heads before I get too excited. Honestly I'm still enjoying Pokemon Black and Pokemon White 2, so I do feel this is kind of sudden. Let's hope they have some good ideas and don't make anymore object Pokemon like LITWIC and VANILICE. Man was that stupid! Talk about running out of ideas. But anywho I'm sure Nintendo will ultimately do a fine job on this and it dose help the 3DS library out some so who knows. It may quickly become my favorite game, but for now from what I've seen and heard it's not really grabbing me. Oh and whoever said the art style looked like from the Dragon Quest series, that's a good comparison actually. I agree.
Hey,

Litwick and Vanillice are good Pokémon. >:I
Well Grimer and Muk are just piles of sludge and I think they're both cool looking Pokemon.

I disagree, honestly those kinds of pokemon were actually far more creative than some of the other pokemon I have seen the past 6 generations.
Litwick and following evolutions were awesome
The Litwick and Vanillite families are some of my favorite Gen 5 Pokemon. No one is allowed to have opinions but me.

Anyway I'm glad they finally switched to 3D, it looks great. The sprites of the Pokemon are the only thing I miss, but not much considering 3D models actually make animations feasible. The two legendary Pokemon look really cool, and the starters don't blow me away but they're cute enough.
