I realized recently that there is a blatant lack of a good SMW OW tilesheet, so I dug around through the raw SMW graphic files until I eventually spat this thing out.
Yes, blank space. I made each "sub-map" as a seperate sheet, then pasted them all together, so that explains why it exists. There
are repeated tiles, and even tiles that didn't appear in SMW. I did this so people can make maps beyond the scope of the SMW OW. I also wanted to dumb it down and make it as simple to use as possible, and hey, if there weren't repeating tiles, then it'd be replaced with more blank space. 8x8 is a pain to work with, but it's required to make a map as beautiful and decorated as the one in SMW.
I also have this, because I decided "why not".
this.
this is simply
BRILLIANT.
...okay I hate to ruin the moment but it'd be nice if your icons didn't have a background color and the tiles were on the default icon background.
Awesome!
Did you miss the neon sign in the Valley of Bowser?

How about now?

I didn't include it because the neon sign is an OW Sprite and not a Layer 1 level tile (not to mention I don't have any idea where it is even located in the files themselves, although it probably wouldn't require too much searching). Actually, the special world Super Famicom symbol should technically be included with the level tiles, but w/e.
Hmm, what else would be on that OW Sprite sheet? Is it worth making one?
All there would be is the neon sign, jumping cheep cheep, Bowser in his clown car, Boo, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and some unused sprites (Lakitu, a blue bird, koopalings, and piranha plants)
^I had to edit that a couple of times because I thought that there was less than there actually is. I suppose a sheet for the sprites could come in handy.
yes the icons are good.
it'd actually be appreciated if you could include the OW sprites anyway but I guess you don't have to. it'd make the sheet complete once and for all.

Went ahead and did that
nice!
but I think you missed the animation of bowsers head when it comes out of the water, right?

That's not an "animation" per se, but some fancy layer 2 shenanigans. It functions in exactly the same way a path is revealed when you complete a level.
The first on in any case, since these are crappy custom colours.
The second one too, since it has wrong colours (tileset + castle). But I would save the unused stuff from that sheet.
