I'm going crater-less, with limbs. Thank you all for your input; many good, valid points were made.

@Baegal
I think that the eye is visible enough as is, but I do see the issue with the perspective ad the face. I may change the thickness and/or angle of the body, but I may just adjust the eye to match. (I think the mouth is actually pretty well done)
Do you think you could explain a little more on what you meant about the perspective issues? I kinda understand, but not enough to make a fix.

@tonberry
I will probably add some craters to see what happens, but I don't anticipate liking the outcome, so I'm going to plan on not having them. =P
Thanks, though. Cool idea.

Note:
I'm a student. My weeks are taken. Work on this will resume this weekend. =P
Just trying to pull in an opinion. Should I make a sheet of this?

I would be remaking what Mr. Shine does in Adventure/KID. (but prettier)

If I were to sheet it, I would probably make the change Baegal suggested. I had originally chosen the angle without the intent of animating, and Baegal's would be much better to work with.

yesyesyes
The main problem you're facing right now is that Mr. Bright, as he is, IS supposed to be flat. His design is based on an 2D icon of a moon, and trying to port it in 3D will make him look warped and unlike his original design. Of course, this isn't bad, as giving a character your own spin is a great thing. I'm just making sure you know this.

This being said,

In both examples here, I hate how the points are literal squares instead of being pointy. Work on it.
@Gorsal
*Mr. Shine ;D

The issue with the points was mostly fixed when the shading and other work was done. That was more of a temporary "sketch" of the shape.

Not as square, though the bottom still isn't so great.

I never interpreted him as being flat, necessarily, though I guess that's one way of looking at it. I suppose I grew up knowing the original Kirby's Adventure version first, where you couldn't really tell.
Blah, it's hard for me to explain
basically, you have the view too close to the front view, and it should be more to a profile IMO.

You have A, I think it should be more like B

EDIT: Ninja'd. My explanation still stands, it just seems a little weird now given the flow of the thread. Whatever.
Ah, gotcha gotcha. Yes, I do think that rotation would be a good change, especially if I'm planning to make a sheet.

I'll get to work on this tomorrow. Expect some updates late tomorrow/Saturday.
