At least this game will give me and everyone else a break from all these Mario & Luigi ripping projects we've had over the past.
Remember when Miyamoto cared about his characters?
This game looks like it'll be amazing, just like the other M&L games! Hopefully it won't be as disappointing as Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
Miyamoto only cares about a handful characters in the Mario series: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Toad, and now, Bowser Jr. They're all the ones he created and the only ones he uses regularly.
who knows, maybe Luigi's dreams will have fury to prevent my dreams from being crushed...
I'm hoping that Luigi's dreams will make direct references to other games that Luigi has been in since it would be linked to his memories. Maybe a Dream King Boo boss? I'm also wondering what the plot will be. I mean, what good does going into a dream do in the grand scheme of things? Also, Starlow is back which I'm okay with. As far as partners go, she was alright.
maybe we're finally going to find out what that star door in Pit was talking about XD

Oh but you forgot about Goomba and Koopa! Those are also characters that deserve to be in every game, hey maybe they'll get their own games someday! Because, you know, they are
sooo important and deserving.

I... never knew that tbh. I didn't beat the game because I got stuck at one point (I think I was Bunny link at the time? idk) or something.

I think you're confusing Link's Awakening and A Link to the Past here! You transform into a bunny in A Link to the Past when you enter the golden land without having a certain item yet. In Link's Awakening, Link gets stranded on the shores of an island which is only in the dream of the wind fish.
So in Link's Awakening everything is a dream and Wart appears (I think to the right of the swamp, he's in a cave and throws bombs?).
oh, derp. shows how much I know about them. :I
(no I have not played Link's Awakening, idk why)
If they don't use series staple of sprites in this game, I will be disspoint.
