Their arms might be a bit too far out from their body if this is the idle pose. Kind of looks like they're forcing their arms that way, instead of it being more relaxed. Maybe pull the legs/feet together one pixel as well. Other than that, it all looks nice with the shading and all. Perhaps add a single color highlight to the hair?
These are more of a reference sprite, if you know what I mean. In their idle pose they'd face right.
As for the Rival Legends logo, it looks cool, but you might want to make the "Legends" font consistent. It goes from serif to sans serif (look that up if you don't know what I'm talking about), making look kind of odd. You might also want to make the I in "RIVAL" capital, as that interferes with consistency as well.
Super Fighting Brethren WIP
Change the hot pink on the edge of Kirby's shadow to something darker and less saturated than the pink it borders. It looks like he has a band of hot pink running down his bottom. Also, try adding some lighter colors to the Pikachu sprite. All of your other sprites are looking good.

Luigi's off-balance, change the stance. Do away with DK's dithering on his hair, as that doesn't really add anything to the sprite. Revise his muscles so it doesn't look like sausages: look how muscles are distributed over the arm, and try emulating it.

So yeah, I've always wanted to see another sidecrolling Zelda game, and pray that it is neither as hard as Zelda 2 or as shitty as the CD-i games.
Also, I suck at spriting scenery.
And, is it me, or do sucky games tend to have great soundtracks?
Well, in the case of Sonic 2006, I'd say you're spot on about that assumption.
Anyway, if it is a side-scrolling Zelda you want, then the best course of action is for someone to study all the best moments of that kind of play style in Zelda and mix in a few elements from other good games from that genre seamlessly.
By the way, you have a nice Link sprite, but why did you make his libs black?

A WIP I've been working on. It's a Zebesian!
It's been a long time since I've ever done some pixel schnitzels, so I did this to get practicing once more.
That Zebesian's looking pretty promising so far! I think the brow's overshaded, so it's flattening the head. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of it!
Oh, and that Zelda mockup was looking good too. Have you carried it on?
