okay I do believe I got it right THIS TIME! hopefully

I left the original ones in if Virtua wants to use them in some way
Tiny contribution through poor editing.

These are basic enemies from Clash at Demonhead (I call them Propels, or Propel Guys). These are one of two enemies that actually change their sprites based on what armor you wear. I made expressions based on those faces, denoting a jovial, wacky, aggressive and surprised version. The mean and spooked one got an extra propeller blade for some reason.

If anyone wants to clean them up feel free, I'm a bit sloppy.

Well, I sure can tell you used one of my older enemies as a base:

Now, the arms are really blocky and the shading is all over the place. Also, since they're obviously not in the same family as the peaches, having them as a base for this new "breed" just doesn't feel right.

As such, I made a WIP from scratch:

I couldn't find any references, so I don't know if this is true to the original design or not.

Yeah, it was a really quick edit when I was bored the other night. Right now I'm too tired to do much else, probably gonna sleep a while right now. Yours is awesome, by the way. Big Grin

this is the raddest baddest sprite project about!! virtuaboy keep it fresh

it got me hyped for spriting again so i made these [they still need a lot of work though]

they don't really fit in with the project 'cause they're not original so i don't expect them to be included or anything but i'd like to showcase them still
i guess i wanted to try out the style in the same way you did elmedine from dragon's heaven (his voice is annoying as fuck but the soundtrack to that 'film' is great)

More practise. This time it's the mysterious Black Knight known as Catastrophe, based on his latest design that first introduced his sword and shield, Red Armageddon and Black Shelter.
Aside from using his gear, he can also summon lightning and throw phantasmal tridents.

Still working on it, might have made it too mecha like now :I
I think it'll work. Maybe try simplifying the midsection area?
Maybe add some weapons for it to wield, Laser Sword, Chainsaw, or change one of it's arms to a Arm Cannon
