as for the game, that's more like a study than a game. A game would only be a game if it has a goal, and the possibility of winning and losing, right?

No, there are plenty of games without goals and without winning or losing.

Animal Crossing totally has a goal, and a reward for accomplishing it. It's a game with a lot of winning, and not a whole lot of losing (but there still is losing if you aren't the first to pay off your debt/donate an item to the museum!)
