psst
anybody remember that one guy from mother 3 who was really versatile and didn't have any psychic powers
hm?

pokeballs turned off SO FAST
I knew this day would come.
Here my child. It's time for you to shine.
(Note: I know that he's not confirmed yet, but it's still a heat seeking "In your face" targeting Shokio's head )
Here's some reasons I thought of today why a reveal of Ridley as the next newcomer would be boss as hell aside from the obvious reasons: he's a PERFECT answer to Little Mac. Why?
Mac is a minuscule runt, Ridley is large.
Mac is a relatable human, Ridley is a sci fi dragon dinosaur thing.
Mac is hard working and dreams to be the best, Ridley fights for power over others.
Mac fights for sport to prove himself in a world where he's the underdog, Ridley is a murdering pirate.
Mac fights with his fists and his own strength, Ridley is willing to bastardize his body with weaponry to settle a score.
But most importantly, in a gameplay sense
Mac is a fighter who works best on the ground, and Ridley, while his arms aren't useless, fights much better from the air with his feet and his tail.
Agree or disagree whether you like Ridley as a character, but you can't deny that Ridley is almost the antithesis to Little Mac in these regards.
(also CBL, Duster would be soooo good)

I remember during the first demo of Brawl that there were rumours that both him and Sothe from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn appeared in Brawl as assist trophies.
Hmm I always thought smashbros did more of up-scaling then down-scaling.
Dat Chibi robo.(probably going to be a assist)
Its not really about the character's size. Like if they're using updated models of characters I'm not a fan of that other m Ridley.
That beak is weak. I like every thing else about it.
This reason alone is why I still think he won't be in.(kidding)
Hoping we do get another heavy/heavy hitting character however.
Also
-Little Mac is seeming like an extreme glass cannon, so I will definitely use him for team battles.
Finally if we are talking about better representation from Earthbound.
-A remixed version of the Roving Tank theme, that guitar shredding could be intense.
-EVE would make a great assist shows up attacks once and powers down, disappears..
or
A Flying man assist, 4 show up on stage and randomly walk around attacking, they can be knocked off too....
-More trophies, iconic enemies would be a good start
-I honestly don't think they need another playable character, Ness/Lucas are great enough. (project m did a better job of differentiating them though)
I'll love Ridley no matter how he appears if he appears in Smash 4...
... but if it is the Other M design, I will affectionately refer to him as Rudley from now on.
What about Wario representation? That series got it the worst last time.
obv we need another wario world remix
there is no such thing as "too many wario world remixes"
alternatively, a remix of one of the Shake It trailer songs would be fine (not ideal though)
We need a map based on Twitch Plays Pokemon!
or a 4th wall breaking gaming shelf with old consoles, a tv, etc, and having the tv broadcast what's actually on the screen.
I found some good costume ideas from a deviantart user here's the image.
I think there is only one way Mac could be alternate costumed, and that's the pink jumpsuit.
I would view the three posted above as palette swaps more than true costumes. The changes aren't that dramatic, and fit into the realm of Pokemon clothes, Ness shirts, Daisy earrings, and Blood Falcon.
