Well the only reason why it's being given credibility is because of the fact that the dude who "leaked" some newcomers was correct about the WiiFit Trainer, who was so off the wall no one really thought about Her/Him.

There's a good chance it's a case of the million monkeys typing about Shakespeare deal, but still

of the established rhythm heaven characters, the chorus kid probably has the best chance, since he's done a variety of different things instead of just one. While there are other characters who have shown up multiple times, few of them are as iconic or varied as the chorus kid

but honestly, I'd expect rhythm heaven to be only an AT or a stage at best
it'd be cool to see a stage made up of an amalgamation of all the factory-based minigames

Being unfamiliar with the RH franchise, I was under the impression that this girl was the mascot:

she's like Fire Emblem's Anna in that she's like a character that appears in each game, but I think she's in only one actual minigame and is more a representation of the player themself than a mascot. She'd probably work though.

If they are, probably, but I don't want to risk that.

If there's going to be a musical character in Smash it's gotta be Barbara the Bat!



She's such a cool character. Unlike Rhythm Heaven (which doesn't seem to have a main character) Daigasso Band Bros. does! Barbara the bat has also cameo'd in various other Nintendo games including Master of Illusion.



She's also been referenced in Find Mii 2. So it seems Nintendo likes this character, especially since she's already been an Assist Trophy in Brawl.

Anyway can't you see her smacking people with her guitar and blasting opponents with electric sound waves? Rock on!



But let's be realistic. I doubt it will happen, but I think it's even less likely that a Rhythm Heaven character will happen. Still a guy can dream.

would we really want another character that can just punch and kick. i mean, they already had enough trouble putting little mac in the game since all he can do is punch.

The Chorus Boys seem more fitting for Assist Trophies.

I'd say a character whose sole function is an all-limb martial art would be a really good choice as a character, actually. There aren't much for characters who utilize one exclusive martial art, and in this context they could be even more fun and diverse than in traditional fighting games.

You might not like the idea, but thinking about Ryu in Smash Bros. makes me drool, and I've never been hugely into Street Fighter.

Besides a character from a music based series should have music based attacks. Would Karate Joe really represent Rhythm Heaven well?

As long as we're on the topic of rhythm games, I'd just like to toss out that I'd really like to see something from HarmoKnight, like a Tempo assist trophy.
