I think the three characters who are the embodiments of the Triforce are going to be the ones in the game. Just sayin'.

Truth be told if Ganondorf really gets back in he should actually use his fucking sword for once instead of a damn taunt.
I don't think he'd get the axe, a trident is more a ganon thing. Jokes aside, Ganondorf should either get his sword, or pick up a trident. A spear weapon user could really mix up the cast. At the very ganondorf should get move he's actually used before in games even if he's only used them as ganon.
(if they really want a someone with the previous ganondorf move set... give it to a F-zero character)
Ganondorf has had plenty of moves across the series to choose from. I don't know why they insisted on making/keeping him a Captain Falcon clone.
I've heard theories of Yellow devil being a megaman specific boss, and today's picture shows kirby standing/embedded in yellow.
Theory dispelled?
Yellow's role narrowed down a tad?
Nothing major but it IS a new bit of information.

Laziness, mostly. Given that Ganondorf was seemingly part of Brawl from the beginning, there's no doubt that they had enough time to give him his own moves while they were developing that game. However, his moveset was still very similar to Captain Falcon's. And on top of that, he's the worst character in the game. It's like they just didn't give a damn, at all.
As much as I'd like to see Ganondorf with his own original attacks in the new game, I've learned to expect less. Even if he appears in the new Zelda WiiU game with interesting attacks or weapons, we'll probably get the same old Ganondorf from melee with minor changes.
If Ganondorf used a trident, that would be AWESOME.
If Ganondorf used a weapon at all it'd be pretty awesome.
hi, waddap remember me
i've ''returned'' to this forum to talk about this game with more people than just starpower and OSM, and some more friends, and i'm curious about your opinion about this game boys and girls
game is all about quality tops quantity, which i'm totally fine with because brawl just felt so crowded most of the time. like for example the stage builder, which is a cool feature but was programmed so bad, i thought i felt so limited and i just knew they could have done much more with it, but didn't because it wasn't their top priority.
like most things in the game were not, i hope they just keep the trophy collection and maybe remove the stickers, or not i never had much of a problem with them; although they also felt like a bit like ''they are like trophies, cept we're too lazy to render a model and add some information''
then again; i think you need to see brawl like just more than a game, it's a nintendo encyclopedia. but i just hope this/these new smash bros game(s) is going to be more straight forward again like melee and the orginal one.
i've got some characters i want to be in the game, but hey really at the end of the day i don't think i care that much. i just want ness back, who's going to return without a doubt. kirby's already in there ofcourse, and villager seems to be my newcomer main character
and meta knight, which is the same case as ness i think unless sakurai is going '' oh i've created this game but i can't put too much of my own characters in it because that would be selfish and i'm a pretty nice guy'' again, since dedede and meta were suppose to be in the original smash, but got removed.
also loving today's picture, because villager, fucking villager.
Or we get Ganon instead, with a trident. It'd be less confusing than replacing a veteran's moveset.
Nintendo encyclopedia? I wish. There are so many franchises Smash has never covered, not even in stickers.

Please go on. One of smash bros strengths is introducing people to franchises they'd never heard of before and might like (I found kirby through the original and Custom Robo through Melee).
So I'm curious on how many they actually have in reserve they could throw out.
(I REALLY want something from their days before consoles to make it in somewhere, since that's a big mystery area that would be neat to see)

Brawl was already on a duel layer disc. I don't think they could fit any more trophies. It takes a while to create even simple models, cut them some slack :p

This comment made me do this:
I've heard some people argue a long time ago that a trident wouldn't be good because of it being a long reaching weapon. However, my counter argument would be King Dedede, who has a rather large weapon and isn't overpowered really. Also if anyone has played Injustice, Aquaman uses a trident and really doesn't have THAT much of a range advantage over other characters, so I find the Ganon trident style to be more than feasible.
I don't really see how the long-reach argument makes sense when plenty of characters have projectile attacks or can move quickly enough to get in on enemies with unwieldy armaments, but that's just me.
