I wouldn't say convinced so much as speculated. Glad to hear he's in though.

I hope he gets a new recovery in the Flying Pikmin. The one in Brawl was horrible.

I love the addition of a whistle sticking out of his helmet, and I'm definitely glad he stuck with Olimar instead of choosing one of the new players in Pikmin 3.

That being said, I do hope that the new pikmin show up in this game, since they could definitely add to Olimar as a fighter.

Yeah the Flying Pikmin would make a great recovery. On top of showing Olimar we get a look at his new stage too!

Honestly, I wouldn't count one of the Pikmin 3 Protagonists out yet. Olimar is seen using the Purple and White pikmin from Pikmin 2, but there's no screenshots showing Rock or Winged Pikmin. Could be that Alph, Brittany, or Charlie will show up as a sort of a Lucas/Luigi clone of Olimar using those two pikmin alongside the three classic ones.

(I remember TSR's reaction to Olimar during the Smash Bros Dojo. It was wonderful )

I certainly remember when everyone was pissed when it wasn't Captain Falcon getting confirmed.

I guess they are going to put Wily's Fortress with a design that's based on one of the Game Boy Mega Man games, or probably King's Fortress from Mega Man and Bass. Who knows, we might even get a stage from Mega Man Zero/ Battle Network.

Say, wouldn't it be cool if the next "Pokemon Stadium" stage is called "Pokemon Colosseum"?

Except Megaman and Bass was a SNES game long before it was on GBA.

It's a wee bit silly to utilize and organize our information in ways which are confirmed and awaiting further information before modification to the confirmed data?

Hey guys! Sakurai updated with a picture of a new stage for the 3DS. It's a Kid Icarus Uprising stage.

I'm 95% certain that the stage is from Chapter 11 of the game. I'm hoping one of these two is true:

a.) It's like the Castle Siege stage from SSBB where it cycles between different areas
or
b.) There are other stages from KIU. This one isn't really that memorable IMO.
