Making a moveset is never a problem in these games. Everyone should know that by now. Even if a character doesn't have much (even though Starfy actually does) you can take what few things they do have and expand the hell out of it. That's what they did with Ice Climbers.
EDIT: Zelda has been updated on the site as many predicted.
...
Godamnit Sakurai! Stop making DK look horrible! Seriously it just keeps getting worse.
The Darknut in this picture makes me wonder, an assist?
edit it actually looks like the Phantom from PH and Spirit Tracks
And clearly alluding to Sheik
Also, they are keeping the TWP styles it seems, with slight differences.
And Donkey Kong is back to his old antics.

Ugh please!
I like Donkey Kong like this, more silly, but will still mess you up (he's my 3 fav in brawl).
A completely serious Donkey Kong? Too boring.
I don't think that's a Darknut.
I'm pretty sure Phantom Zelda just got confirmed as an assist.
...Damn...
Orrrrr as a move. Who knows?

No I don't want a serious DK but I don't want one portrayed as a damsel stealing villian. That's not
my Donkey Kong. My Donkey Kong is a heroic goofball.
Donkey Kong's portrayal does need to be handled a little more consistently. There was a short while where I could accept that he's a more thuggish character that sometimes does good things, but I just can't actually see it that way. Donkey Kong is so definitely one of the good guys. I mean, he even plays opposite of Bowser in Mario Party.
I like to see DK as an anti-hero kind of guy (more hero than anti-hero though, if such thing does exist), because DK's origin is that, after all. And the dude is really goofy in a lot of portrayals.
I don't think that I could see a necktie-wearing ape being serious anyway
and tbh looks like he's just photobombing
"sup guys"
"ugh im tired of your shit dk"
Wow, I wonder whether that Dark Nut is meant to be part of her attacks in some way. It's really well-rendered, so I just wonder whether it's an assist or part of her movepool. It would be kind of interesting to combine various Zelda assets into one concept, like having TP Zelda able to control a suit of armor from Spirit Tracks despite them not coexisting in games. However, I don't think its a buddy character like Lumas or Pikmin, since usually when a character has things like that the buddies are included in the character's title. In this case, if it isn't an assist, it looks like a smash or special attack. I think its just Sakurai trolling for speculation, because the tip of Dark Nut's shoe is so close to Zelda herself, and his stance is so low and it is SO very clearly the kind of armor from Spirit Tracks that Zelda possessed, but there's just so many OTHER things this character could be. Oh well.
Either way, the TP design with slightly brighter colors does work for me. Plus they lightened her up a bit, as evident by that ridiculous face she's making in that picture with Rosalina.
she looks amazing, truly stunning
i'm also really curious what the phatom is, but i'm hoping a move. love to see zelda updated with attacks from all kind of zelda games.
Wow, Zelda is almost as pretty as Marth.
I'm thinking the knight/Phantom/Darknut has got to be an assist. There's no way "Adult" Zelda would be using a "Toon" element as an attack.
Also, I love goofy DK.

Dude, chill. That's clearly just a pic of DK being a goofball. Which he's always been.
As Zelda is my main, I find the Phantom situation quite interesting. If they shake up Zelda's moveset, then there's hope for Ganondorf too. Also, first thing I noticed on her announcement pics were the Shiek wraps in her hair.
I'm pretty sure those wraps are just part of her TP design.
Zelda is one of my two mains from Brawl. And for those who are worried because we haven't seen Sheik yet, take a look at that necklace/brooch Zelda's wearing.
