Sure the Xbox one is shit but that doesn't mean that they can't release the game on different platforms.
This game is being released by a business. Not a picky teenager. It's not like anyone is pointing a gun at your head telling you that it's going to be exclusive to the Xdone anyways.
It just feels like bad business sense to me. It costs some money to allow a company to release a game on a different console, so it feels a little like a bad investment to do this, actually.

But that's just to one's opinion.
Sure it may seem like a bad investment but at the same time you never really know what's going to happen in the future. The console still has to be given some chance to be on the market and if it fails they can cancel it. Until then they'll want to try and get the game on the most consoles they can if they're a third party company since they'll want to get profit off the game the most ways they can.
And Besides, Tetsuya Nomura felt that the game was being announced to early. (
source) At any given time Square Enix can cancel the game's release on that system in particular since it sounds like it's still early in it's development. Right now we'd have to wait and see how well the Xbox one actually does on the market until anything happens.

Okay, I think I'll give it a chance... Chances are, Microsoft will find their way out of the pickle they are in and everyone will like them again. I would rather they not, but I know that there are many people who wish Microsoft well and want them to succeed.
Now then, to drop the subject, what do you think will be in the next KH game?
Hey, sorry for the topic bump, but since I was the one who started it and I recently found some more information relating to the game, I thought it was necessary as opposed to creating a new thread.
On Tealgamemaster's channel, you'd never guess what I found!
Wow... I didn't think they would start taking inspiration from the theme parks, too. Sure, Sea Salt Ice Cream was from Disney Sea and the Gummi Ship flights of the second game were inspired by the rides at the theme parks, but never in my wildest dream would I see Sora crashing the train from Big Thunder Mountain into the Rock Titan!
I saw it, and I want to play it, but know I won't get to any time soon. The only thing that bugs me is that the mugshots on the HUD are 3D...it's not that they're bad, but because everything else in the HUD is 2D, it'd have been better if it were pixel art like it used to be.
I have mixed feeling about the mugshots myself. I would miss it if they drop those kinds of mugshots, but I won't get enraged if they keep the current ones in.
The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the pirate ship and train Sora uses. Not only do they seem big and a little out of place, but I think they would be tricky to control.
Unfortunately i only ever beat kingdom of hearts 1 + 2 and Com, here's hoping you don't have to play the others in order to play this one
To be honest, you only have to play the other ones to get certain plot points, but what stopped other gamers from playing some games out of order? You're free to play KH3 without playing any of the side games.
Heh. Didn't Thunder Mountain at Disney Land crash a few years ago and kill some people? And now you're driving it into the Rock Titan? that's kinda funny.

Not so sure about that. It's like this in terms of story....
Birth By Sleep impacts the story a LOT; it explains the reasons why things are they way they are. Then comes KH1, and we get the whole thing versus the Heartless. Then comes 358/2 Days which talks about Roxas' time in Organization XIII (sort of negligible; I've never played this game and still understand why things are the way they are in the story). Next Chain of Memories in which Sora first meets Organization XIII. Following, KH2 for the battle against the Nobodies. Then ReCoded (totally negligible; adds a very miniscule amount of story), and finally Dream Drop Distance (Picks up after ReCoded, and impacts the story a LOT.)
If you can't play the games, it'd do you well to at least watch their cutscenes.
I've learned a fair amount of things about the games I haven't played by reading wiki articles, if you're willing to put in the time. It'd be less time than playing the games, at least.
Kingdom Hearts is convoluted enough that you aren't going to "get" it anyways, so don't fret too much about continuity.
I just wanna beat up Disney characters. Why the hell does the story have to be so ridiculous?
Everything was more simple when it was only the first Kingdom Hearts game, Ton. Some fans fail to see the beauty of the first game.
Well the first one was also the one that had the worst controls xD. They fixed that up considerably with KH2, as well as polished off many other things.
