Sure, they brought catchy tunes to listen to, but if good music can instantly justify anything, then Sonic 2006 would be one of the best games of all time.
To be brutally honest, I don't hate the Organization, but I am pretty tired of all the hype related to them. Every time you look up anything related to Kingdom Hearts, chances are that the search results will be cluttered with information relating to the black coats. To top it all off, they even made Axel a Keyblader, which made me raise an eyebrow. (How much more fan service will these characters get?)
This might be my opinion, but maybe the Organization could take five in the newer Kingdom Hearts games? As of now, I feel they overstayed their welcome.
Well, that's impossible at this point. The Organization's true purpose was revealed in Dream Drop Distance, and the KH3 game will be all about gathering the resources to fight the threats. Really, watch those cutscenes, and you'll understand why
.
I already know about that! Since I played the game, I understand that...
Xeahnort is using the Organization to create thirteen copies of himself to fight in a new Keybalde War.
Sure, the Organization is set to appear in the third game, but what about the games after that? Besides, if I'm not mistaken, isn't the third game supposed to be the end of the Xeahnort Saga?
Well I dunno, it might be. But after that, what next? Delving more into Cloud? I feel like it's going to take a massive FF turn at some point XD.
I remember hearing that they would never make a true FF world though. Sure, most of them LIVE in the same world, but as different characters than who they are in Final Fantasy. Squall is an adult and Seifer and Selphie are kids, for example, and all three exist in three different worlds.
Not to mention the X-2 gals are all faeries (awsome faeries, but faeries still).
I wouldn't mind if KH went in a more FF direction, though. At least, with gameplay. I thnk a turn-based battle system with an actual full-game party would be sweet.
I'd prefer they didn't go turn-based gameplay, and I doubt they will. KH has always been about more action-oriented gameplay mechanics. Personally I'd love to see something the other way around, a Final Fantasy game dabbling in more active kind of combat.
I don't really care for the Final Fantasy characters... (except Seifer because his voice actor is Batman Beyond and his face even kind of looks like Batman Beyond :B) I'm mainly interested in all the Disney worlds. Those are my favorite parts of Kingdom Hearts games. (so long as they're good and not terrible)

But Final Fantasy
has dabbled with action combat.
I knew they were making one, but I lost track of it and never heard of it again. I: That makes it not exist.
In all seriousness though, I am aware of some examples, but I've never played them yet. =X I don't believe their systems were as well received as Kingdom Hearts though.
KH has already used turn-based combat, similar to Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga's, on Re-Coded. All battles in Olympia use this system.
I wasn't exactly referring to a special system for a specific locale. That's like saying Super Paper Mario is turn-based because of the Underchomp battle.
I know, I'm just pointing out it has been done. Given that not much people talk about it, that's probably why they aren't making a whole game based around it.
I don't think it has anything to do with "people talking about it", it's more along the lines of the fact that the game/series wasn't built to play that way. It's always been about exploration and a very fluid active combat system. I don't think turn based battles were ever part of the core vision for the series nor are they going to be. They just sort of gunk up the flow of the game.
