Ah! Then you need to download the .xml file on the second page of this topic.
I don't supposed someone could assist me in figuring out the correct pallet code for B9? I'm having some trouble. The junk area for this file is HUGE and I tried starting from the beginning of it but with no good results.
So I have the new tmspec.xml, and the same palettes are still there. But I think I have the right palettes, as it contains the fire, kirby, kirby's helmet, and alt. colors.

Okay I'm running into a bit of a problem. When I'm looking at Dedede's sheet in TM, it's filled with random lines that shouldn't be there. For example, when I should have something like this:
I instead get something like this:
Incidentally it's screwing up the pallet frames too. Any idea how to fix this?
I noticed that when I was scrolling through it as well. Apparently it just happens gradually as you scroll through the document. My guess is you'll just have to keep pushing the 'byte forward' button as you scroll through instead of just pressing it a few times once in the very beginning.

Yeah, I'll help look for it.
EDIT: I don't think there is a palette in either of the Dedede files. I'm pretty sure they're hidden in their own file separated from the others...
EDIT: Yeah. Your best bet is going to be ripping Dedede with some sort of made-up palette that you make so you can reasonably distinguish one thing from the next, compile the sheet, take a screenshot of Dedede (with the correct colors of course), and then use some sort of color replacement program to recolor the entire document for you. I can link you to one if you want.
Thanks for trying anyways. I ended up just creating my own pallets based on some screenshots I took.
Incidentally though, if someone who's already playing through the rom could get some snapshots of Masked Dedede I'd much appreciate it. I'm going to need them for the pallet of his mask and mech-hammer.
Very good!
Try to rip Metaknight and Marx![/size]
[Edit: Never mind, I fixed it

Well, I'm goin' okay over here, I think. But I gotta turn in for the night.
More ripping tomorrow!
(Gosh, it's addictive!)
Super awesome work, guys!
Can't wait to see how much you've done inside a month!
Keep up the good work.
my tile molester version 0.16 doesn't work with the ds roms...
Here is everything I could find and do for Fatty, his files didn't seem to include the 2nd palette that AJ mentioned (unless someone has a screenshot of it). As for the water, I assembled it as best I could do but it'd be best done by someone who can rip it from the emulator.
The tiles under the water sprites are ones I couldn't figure out where they went.
Fatty Whale's second pallet is in Milky Way Wishes, along with some other boss pallets.
Im gonna try to rip beam kirby!

Yeah, it can, but you shouldn't. DS ROMs are not only huge but filled with cluttered filing.
You should extract what you want with Tahaxan and
then open the files with Tile Molester.
This is what I have for kirby so far. I had to restart because I used the wrong pallette
Dang, Fatty Whale has a lot more frames of animation than he did in the original.
He originally had, what? Three sprites total?
