Yeah. I put those two palettes in as a bit of an extra. The sprites for the enemy Waddle Dees are different, so they'll have to be ripped as well.
It's really bothering me how dark his face is. I don't really think his face is that blue or dark in-game...
I have added some missing sprites.

Are you sure there's nothing funky with your monitor? It looks correct to me. It might be because Marx is on a white background in the sheet and in-game he's in front of a much darker background.
Quote:I honestly do not think I am finding jack...I have been up all night trying to find SOMETHING that looks like rippable sprites, but I don't even think I found one here....Honestly, I'm about ready to throw in the towel unless I hear someone say "there is something of value in this screen shot".
You've got the right idea, you just have your finger in the wrong hole.
You see, .zobj files do not contain sprites. Some files contain sprites and others are code files. the files that contain sprites are *mostly* located in the 'pd' folder and the 'b10' folder; the b files in the 'b10' folder contain about 50% sprite files and 50% junk/code files.

Okay..I will mark that down as a file type that does not contain sprites.
Perhaps, there should be a sticky about what file types do/don't contain sprites..
I'd add to your Rep for helping me renew my drive, but I cannot seem to do that....

Probably is my monitor. It keeps making things out darker than they appear anyway...

Perhaps, but it's only applicable to KSSU, so if anything it should be on the front page of this thread.
As a general rule, only files of type '.b' and
unmarked files can contain sprites. Anything else, such as .zobj or most of the other files in the rom just contain code.
Just an aside, but could we use these methods to rip other DS games? Like M&L 2?
Guess what? I should have been in bed four hours ago! Wheee!
I had to cheat a bit on the sprites where Kawasaki is using the salt shaker; most of his face is covered by Kirby during the animation and the OAM viewer couldn't even split them apart. If we ever find the right data file for it I'll redo them, but I don't think that's gonna happen.
Hi Drshnaps, can you add my marx soul sprite sheet in the homepage of the topic?
Hey, I just exported Grand Wheelie(not going to rip I guess, just trying this), but I'm not too sure on how to open it with Tile Molester. I put on "all files", but it's still not appearing. What do I do?
Oh whoops. I was in the wrong folder. Excuse my retardness.
