Oh, I just call it a roll either way. But yeah, I mean, I dunno what to say. If you haven't tried it with a Nunchuk, do that. It's
way more comfortable and it's easier to do the shake since you only need to use one hand (for the solo roll) or drum (for the ground-pound/double-roll). Which again, just comes more naturally. Like doing the Spin Attack in Mario Galaxy.
Or get the 3DS version which assigns it to a button.
GameXplain gives a huge discussion about 3D World! (Few spoilers!):

I only mentioned the franchises Nintendo revived. I didn't speak about Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Galaxy 1-2, and many others.
Did you ever try Rhythm Heaven Fever? It's an incredible game!
Ahem sorry to keep going off topic.
I didn't like the Galaxy games all that much tbh, but we've been over that before. And while I personally prefer Brawl to Melee, in the eyes of many it is an inferior product.
Remember Super Mario 3D Worldddddd, guys?
Just a heads up guys: the final boss of 3D World has been leaked. It looks amazing in my opinion, and if you're curious, the only YouTube channel I know that has it is Nintendomination.
Also, updated the op.
I never spoil a final boss or ending. I'm willing to spoil a lot of things, but not that.
I will.
SPOILERS AHOY!
Apparently Bowser lives in Biff Tannen's Casino now.
Thanks Ton! I couldn't do that since I was on my phone at the time.

uh oh, replying to spoilers with spoilers
that actually seems kind of lackluster for a final stage boss battle. like don't get me wrong - it looks absolutely beautiful - but at no point during the "boss fight" do you actually make contact with bowser. you're hitting him under a POW block at the end and that's the end of the stage?
like honestly, i was expecting bowser to swipe the flag out at the end from under you at the stage end and THEN the real boss battle would start.
but that was just...uh
is this what boss battles have become? obstacle courses and test of attrition? like, there weren't even that many obstacles and the ones that existed were readable from a mile away
like, that was seriously dissapointing. all this ridiculous technology under the wii u hood and the best they could do was a neon light show before i got the credits sequence
i remember the OLD mario world when bowser rode around in that clown copter and the opportunities to inflict damage were so narrow in comparison to his attack patterns, regardless of power-up you still felt relatively powerless
like
even finalhazard was cooler than this
FINALHAZARD
oh jesus i sound like koopaul

It's funny you say that because I was expecting the same exact thing. A fake-out like NSMB Wii gave us.

I was REALLY hoping that after the clear pipe section, the fight would kickoff. I mean, it was perfectly set-up: Bowser(or Meowser(yes that's the offical name of the final boss)) just used Double Cherries, and he was climbing up the wall. However, instead of multiple Meowsers at the top for an epic showdown, we got a bunch of Cat Goombas. Yay. They should have also made it so that at various points (probably 3) of the climb, you would've had to hit a POW block to flip him over, then stomp on him while avoiding his clones (increased with each point) to continue on. At the top (which would be much bigger), you would probably have to do it three times, with each time increasing the clones, some of which join in on the fight.
The fight is somewhat disappointing gameplay-wise, considering there are better ways of doing a boss battle like this with its potential, but it could be worse. Despite this though, the music and visuals are great.
Trying sooo hard not to click those tags. I:
I finally beat the game, and I'm happy to see one thing:
Extra worlds at the end of the main game that are much much harder. Also, within that there was a stage I loved even more:
A boss rush level! It has every single boss battle sans Bowser related ones. I wonder if after I unlock the last world there will be any more Bowser related bosses. Even if it was just more difficult rehashes, it would be a nice touch, they went so far as to make TWO Hisstocrats fight you at once in the boss rush level.
