Deafmon: What?
In all honest though, I do like the concept. Not sure what the 3rd guy could be in this case though.
This makes me think of a kind of blind, deaf and mute kinda theme for some reason.

That would most likely fit better with the games minor legendary trio (like the birds/beasts/golems/ect). 3 stone monkeys representing see no evil, hear no evil, say no evil.
3 legendary monkeys huh? Sounds good to me.
Forgot about them. I guess they are posed like see, hear, speak aren't they?

And as we know, Gamefreak never ever reuses older concepts in new ways.
*cough* Infernape and Pansear, Vulpix and Fennekin, Zubat and Woobat, about a million different frogs, ect *cough*
Seriously though, theres more than one sort of monkey in the world which on it's own could vastly change their designs.
Yeah but the difference is their theme. Game Freak will reuse animals but there will always be a different theme behind them. Pansear and Infernape kind of represent two different ideas. These monkeys however really do represent the famous monkey trio.
Anyway, Sight VS Sound and Logic VS Creativity seem to be tied at the moment. Sort of... If not tell me.
I think it comes down to who has a good idea for those themes. If someone can think of something really creative for Sight VS Sound, then that'll be the one we'll go with. If someone can think of something really creative for Logic VS Creativity, then we'll go with that one.
I like the creativity/logic idea. Could lead up to some interesting designs.
I like sight vs sound but I want to see what both could be first.
Well does anyone know of real mythological deities that had those themes going for them? Sort of?
Theres the deaf deity of albanion mythology Surdhi who is repelled by noise oter than him wikipedia is useless
Also Verbti who is called the holy blind one, no other info other than when christians took over propaganda was that whoever said his name would become blind
Sound:
-Keen sense of hearing, able to hear and distiguish even the lowest and highest of pitches
-Can disrupt sound to create perfect silence
-Creates loud noises to eliminate its targets
-Uses sound to alert people of danger
Sight:
-Keen sense of sight, able to see various forms of waves, including light, heat and magnetic
-Can bend light to turn itself or its surroundings invisible
-Creates harsh flashes to eliminate its targets
-Creates beacons of light to guide people to safety
Egyptian Mythology Option:
Logic: Thoth or Ma'at, I would go with Thoth
Creativity: Ptah or Khnum, I would go with Khnum
Greek Mythology Option:
Logic: Athena
Creativity: Apollo (He is the god of music and art and stuff too)
Mascot legendaries are usually beastly. If we can find an animal deity or a deity that has an animal pet, that would be the best option on what to base them on.
@ Zab:
Thoth is represented as having the head of an Ibis, so we could base the legendary after that. Khnum has a head of a ram.
I know Athena's animal is the Owl, but I don't remember what Apollo's animal was.
Can we have the third legendary be based off Horus if we go with the Egypt route?
