Nevermind, I gave up on Sonic already. It doesn't matter.

I really do like the designs apart from knuckles though, and that's just because his looks strange in 3d.

Ever seen Jack Skellington run in the Kingdom Hearts games? The way he runs is equally awkward due to those long legs of his.

Surprisingly I'm not mad about this. Sonic having blue arms really weirds the crap out of me though.

No matter how you slice it here, the character designs are amature
and the proportions of the characters are laughable

i mean sonic doesn't even have a torso
or chest
or groin
his legs literally just sprout from the bottom of that dumb upside down triangle of a body

gameplay be damned, its two thousand bloody fourteen
Why are character artists more inept than those from over twenty years ago

I'm all for "shaking things up" in a series to inject more life, but damn
Every sonic title since adventure has had character or gameplay redesigns
and they've all been progressively worse (in some cases completely broken) than the
iterations before them

You can say that the mario franchise has gotten stale for staying to close to its roots.
I think that the inverse is true of sonic; Once sonic left his roots, he hasn't had solid
footing ever since

This series is not even coming out in Japan. That shows you how unimportant it is.

no, she definitely looks like a jet set radio character

i couldn't agree any more. im actually a bit excited.

some changes were actually made to fit certain characters. knuckles, for example, (despite looking a bit weird) looks better when hes buff because it suits his character more. i dont believe i ever heard of a strong skinny dude before...
amy's personallity (i guess?) changes makes her significant, so being the "damsel in distress" idea wont work any longer! speaking of longer, everyone's legs are vveeeEEEEEERRRRRRrrrrrryyyy long, but i think itll grow on most people since sonics anatomy has always been this weird.

also, green eye hissy fit = blue arms hissy fit???

Blue arms looks like a blatant coloring mistake to any fan, while green eyes is like a small aesthetic addition.
